Carter's seasoning is the best

I grew up on carters fish when I was a kid. when I lived in Springfield il, we used to eat there at least 1-2 times a week maybe more and it's always was fresh and tasty. I'm 32 now and wish I was there to get some.

When I'm in Springfield I always make a pit stop here. They make some of best fried fish period. Got my favorite walleye fillets 8.9 that comes with pickles, onion plus white bread and some fried okra 8.7. Everything is made to order so once you get you plate it's already piping hot. You get a decent amount of fish for the price too my only complaint is the hot sauce and tartar sauce both are below average. If they could get better sauces would rate this 5 stars. The customer service was great very polite and kind. Overall not a bad spot to grab fried fish anywhere. 8.8

The BEST catfish ever
The little lady that works the register old white with glasses can be Rude but they sell some of the best fish in springfeild they keep the condiments in a cooler on a table (individual packages) everyone serves themselves the condiments I passed on them (guy before me sneezed in his hand ) then got his condiments I have to say even without it that fish was still very good!
