Simply beautiful I love the woodwork. I love the antique look of it. The bartender at the time was wonderful. My drinks were great and the prices are very reasonable thank God.!! I will definitely return whenever I am in town.

Celtic Mist Pub is truly a gem in Springfield! From the moment you step inside, you’re embraced by an inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends nostalgia with a fresh, modern touch. The owners, John and Margaret O’Riordan, have created a space that feels like a home away from home. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, the warm welcome and sense of community are immediate. It’s the ideal place to gather with friends, enjoy hearty laughter, and share in the camaraderie that defines this pub. The ambiance is charming, the drinks are top-notch, and the conversations flow as easily as the pints. If you’re looking for a place to relax, catch up, and savor genuine hospitality, Celtic Mist Pub is the spot to be. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable night out!

Today I feel punched in the gut by racism…
I can’t close my eyes to rest I’m so outraged. After leaving our graduation party, a group of guys attempted to go to a local bar. Most of the group consisted of Black young men. Kind, compassionate, fun loving, hardworking, Black young men. The two who stood 6’5” plus were not allowed entry into the bar. One was told he fit the description of someone that was on their do not admit list. He had NEVER been there before. The other was not given a reason. He too had not been there before. I couldn’t imagine the embarrassment, the confusion, the helplessness, the anger…
I’m absolutely livid!!! They had just spent approximately 4 hours laughing, playing bags, having fun in my backyard. How could such a wonderful day turn into such an awful experience for the entire group? Racial profiling is real! It’s ugly! It needs to STOP!
Racially profiled myself and friends.

My friend was stereotyped and barred from access when he has never stepped foot in this establishment before. The reasoning “Tall, black man with dreads”. You better believe you will never see my money and I hope your business fails tremendously.

Bartenders and bouncers are discriminating against black people. A friend went up there and was denied at the door, the bouncer saying he was "barred" when he had never stepped into the establishment before. The bouncer and bartender are ignorant and rude, and the sterotyping should not be allowed.

Bartender can't be bothered. Ruins the experience.
Bartenders were absolutely fun and charming, visited the evening of St. Patty's and had some nice drinks and shared conversation with the locals. Definitely recommend as their vodka crans were absolutely delicious!

Stopped in Springfield for the night while on my road trip, and decided to go for a few beers in the Celtic mist. As soon as i walked through the door i had a warm welcome from Jay, the bar tender. ? He was very informative about the different ales they had on offer, i ended up going for one of the Ipa's on draught! ?? All in all the Celtic mist is a cracking little bar, with nice people and nice beer. If I lived in Springfield and not the UK, this place would be my local boozer!
what a great pub to stop by and enjoy a pint.....our bartender was Jay....whom was so attentive, happy, informative....I cant say enough great things about Jay....lthank you Jay for your great personality for this iconic pub. we also met the owner & his brother....both very friendly and easy to listen to, as one of the brothers had an Irish accent. we were so glad we stopped by...the beer was nice & cold, just like we like it...& atmosphere was very friendly..everyone was just enjoying their time spent here....we came in at around 5pm.....loved our experience here. thank you all....it made the end of our journey in Springfield very memorable....in such a fun way..... :) :)
We were there for a convention and walked across late one evening. The bartender was not friendly in the least. The atmosphere and facility was rather nice but a bit crowded. It’s also very loud in the bar they lack some sound proofing or noise abatement. There’s a vastly better bar down the street at Obed and issacs.
