Stopped in Springfield for the night while on my road trip, and decided to go for a few beers in the Celtic mist. As soon as i walked through the door i had a warm welcome from Jay, the bar tender. ? He was very informative about the different ales they had on offer, i ended up going for one of the Ipa's on draught! ?? All in all the Celtic mist is a cracking little bar, with nice people and nice beer. If I lived in Springfield and not the UK, this place would be my local boozer!

what a great pub to stop by and enjoy a pint.....our bartender was Jay....whom was so attentive, happy, informative....I cant say enough great things about Jay....lthank you Jay for your great personality for this iconic pub. we also met the owner & his brother....both very friendly and easy to listen to, as one of the brothers had an Irish accent. we were so glad we stopped by...the beer was nice & cold, just like we like it...& atmosphere was very friendly..everyone was just enjoying their time spent here....we came in at around 5pm.....loved our experience here. thank you all....it made the end of our journey in Springfield very memorable....in such a fun way..... :) :)

We were there for a convention and walked across late one evening.The bartender was not friendly in the least.The atmosphere and facility was rather nice but a bit crowded. It’s also very loud in the bar they lack some sound proofing or noise abatement. There’s a vastly better bar down the street at Obed and issacs.

Owner is the most disrespectful person I’ve met. I will never go back there. He cussed at my friend for blocking the end of the bar and pushed him in the chair out of the way. Waited 20 minutes for a drink and then disrespected for no reason.

If a 0 star rating was possible, this place would be getting 0 stars. The owner of this establishment kicked others out after he overcharged them $40 for 4 white claws... all they wanted was a refund. After waiting a half hour for drinks, the owner screamed in my friends face for "being in the way", and screamed at my friends and I to "GTFO". The owner of this establishment was drunk on the job, and reeked of alcohol. This is not how a business should be ran, and I'm sorry for the others who were disrespected yesterday as well. I've been around the globe, and I have never seen such a disorganized and dangerous environment to grab a drink with friends. There are much better alternative bars nearby... I'd consider going elsewhere if you're seeking a fun or safe time out with friends or family.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Went to this bar on a very busy day (fatass 5k) and the staff could not handle the intense pressure of the big event. Both male bartenders working were extremely rude and treated me and the group I was with with the absolute worst disrespect. The bar had placed a water station at the end of their bar and one member of my group was sitting there close by it. The bar tender rudely yelled at him to "move the fuck out of my way" when he was going to take the trash out. My friend scooted over for the bartender and thought he was being rude as a joke and so he laughed it off. However, when the bartender returned he pulled the back of my friends chair back about 5 feet from the bar and screamed at him again saying "I told you to get the fuck out of my way". When me and my friends told the bartender that was completely and out of line he repetitively cursed us out and told us to get the fuck out. Absolutely no respect for their paying customers. Will never be coming back and I hope the owner of this bar knows they will be losing business from me and every person I know.

KEPT TAB OPEN AND THROUGHOUT THE NEXT COUPLE HOURS I ORDERED 3 MORE, WAS CHARGED $40. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT I WAS TOLD I MUAT HAVE ORDERED MORE. I ASKED FOR AN ITEMIZED BULL, WHICH HAD MULTIPLE BEERS. I NEBWR ORDERED BEER! TWO MALE BARTENDERS WERE EXTREMELY RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! I WENT BACK AND CALCULATED THE BILL FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE BASES ON THEIR PRIVES AND NOTICED I WAS CHARGED EXACTLY $20 MORE THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN! THEY RESPONDED BY SAYING DURING LARGE EVENTS THEY ROUND UP. SERIOUSLY? DOUBLE ADDING $20 IN EACH BILL IS ROUNDING UP? BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Was in town for 3 weeks working and stopped in here a few times for a quick drink. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Would go back for sure. Only down side is no food but plenty of options within walking distance.
