What an iconic place. Off the beaten path. The food was delicious, our waitress was exceptional. And the place was packed. Will define going back here again.Parking: Plenty of parking but it's a gravel parking lot with not of rust and potholes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on the 1st floor with no steps to get in. There were a number of people with walkers who had no problems with the parking lot being uneven. Handicapped stall in the ladies room.

Surprisingly although it was super busy, the service was fast and on point. The food was delicious, the potatoes are worth pointing out, they were seasoned and so tasty! The pancake was the size of the plate, I couldn’t finish it all. We will be coming here again!

Food was decent. Service was good. Place needs cleaned up though. Floors are dirty and need scrubbed badly.

This diner is unique for looking like the old Route 66 appearance and atmosphere. We stopped here on way to the Totality!

Fun place. The outside looks like a barracks, but inside it's a hive of activity. Kitschy advertising signs - Sinclair Oil, Eastern Airlines - vie with Elvis and Marilyn for wall space. Very attentive wait staff, and a pretty extensive menu.I got the fisherman's breakfast: 2 eggs, toast, potatoes and choice of catfish or walleye. It was good, but when I saw the bloke at the table next to me eating the catfish sandwich, which featured 2 large filets on slabs of marbeled rye, I made a mental note to order that next time I'm passing through Springfield. My daughter had the most attention-grabbing dish: a chocolate chip pancake as large as the 33 1/3 vinyl records also on the wall.

Famous place in Springfield that was packed for breakfast when we stopped on weekday. Service and atmosphere are full diner experience. Was a little disappointed that Eggs Benedict used shaved ham instead of ham slice and they wouldn't allow toast substitution. But still good stop.
