5+ stars for the nostalgic aspect and the decor of the place, 3 stars for the food and portion sizes. Unfortunately, none of the food had that "wow" factor- very standard and average. Our server was very friendly though, and we had a good time here.
If you’re in the area, go to the Hen House for breakfast. This family run place is authentic and the food is literally served up hot and fresh. The portion sizes are very filling - you won’t leave hungry. The decor is kitschy with hens, farm and country. There is a small gift snip tucked in the corner with books, small home decor items and candy. Food was very good and CHEAP!! There was 6 of us, no wait, we just sat ourselves. Only waited for our food for maybe 10-15 mins. For all of us the total was $50. Portion size is a little bit smaller.
