We visited with a large party. So, some issues are to be expected. We ordered Nachos with beef and it came out with no meat at all. They fixed it and brought a new order, other than waiting no real big deal. The couple across from us got the tacos and said they didn't care for the beef as it had no flavor. Our beef on our nachos were fine. I don't know what happened there. Again, it was a very large group. I would surely come back. They had a HUGE beer selection.
This was my first visit to Home Plate, and it did not disappoint. I had two brats with mustard, onions, and sauerkraut. They were very good, and would have been great if the onions were sauteed and the mustard spicy brown instead of yellow. Their sides include a bowl of mandarin oranges, which is a welcome change from the usual sides offered at bar & grills. I tried a blueberry lager, which was very satisfying. It was very busy during the lunch hour - a good sign - but quieted...
I delivered here today. The owner and the staff. They were so amazing. They help me out even to unload the boxes that they ordered very friendly place.Very good people. I never been treated with such kindness and I do appreciate them for thw food and water that they provided me after the delivery the owner such a good man.
