Very dark inside so it is hard for some people to read the menu. The food is quite different than other Indian restaurants we've been to, both locally and across the US. Just not nearly as tasty. Naan was somewhat strange. Very small amount of rice provided with curry dish. Server was sweet but did not refill our drinks except one time when we asked.

I have ordered chicken biriyani , vegetable biriyani , 2 naans and a vegetable curry for takeout yesterday . The naans were alright but the rest of the food was trash . There was a lot of coloring in the chicken biriyani with no taste and same with vegetable biriyani . The taste is gonna be the same but the only difference is they put the vegetables instead of the chicken and the price was expensive too. I would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant for new timers.

Our first visit and we will be back. Food off the menu was very good, reasonably priced and the helpings were really big. The only inexplicable thing was a bowl of something resembling waffle chips that were brought to the table for no apparent reason and which were, quite frankly, horrible. We each tried one and on future visits would ask them to be taken back if the practice continues. They were a real head scratcher. But everything else was so good one little misstep was easy to ignore and, as noted above, we plan on going back soon, even though we seldom eat out otherwise.

Everything we ate we absolutely loved, it was all so flavorful and cooked so well! The chicken 65 was marinated to perfection and the samosas are the best I've ever had!! I cannot wait to come back with friends!

The food was very average. We ordered 4 chicken items none of which came with any sauce. Usually at any desi restaurant, you will get mint/cilantro chatni or raita either complementary to the table or with the meat items. We ordered gol gappay and masala fries for apps and fries were undercooked. The sad excuse for gol gappay was just pathetic. Easily the worst I ever had in my life. There were few cold potatoes and some onions for the the filling. The spice water was stale and tasted like it must have been made week ago. We ended up returning the gol gappay. Sadly, I was really looking forward to this place and having it succeed since there are barely any indian restaurants in Springfield area. The best and only highlight of the whole experience was the waiting staff. They were very accommodating and was clearly embarrassed for the quality of food being presented. I don't think I will ever go back but who knows if I hear something good about the food in the future, I might give it another try but for now, I would pass on this place.

Helpful staff, affordable menu, delicious food. Cute decor, but switching out the harsh cold daylight bulbs for a warmer color could really help make the place more cozy and romantic.

It was so clean and pretty in here. The server was very sweet, and our food came out pretty quickly. It was SO good. Server kept me from ordering the same appetizer and entree, which I didn't realize I was doing, and I mention it because a lot of people would just let you waste your money.

Good lamb masala and naan, but the tandoori chicken leaves a lot to be desired.Tandoori chicken is supposed to taste like cumin, coriander with spice and smoke and this tasted like.... Tomato soup? It did not have the seasoned depth of flavour that it should. I've eaten tandoori chicken at every restaurant in Springfield, some in New York and many in England as well as cooking it at home, and this was not right at all.The bathroom door handle was broken also, I couldn't be sure it was locked and I had a tricky time getting out !!I also wish they had chicken pakora. But that's ok. The menu has plenty of choices. Please get the right seasoning for the chicken tandoori and I will be back.

Love Jaalsa! Enjoyed Indian cuisine for the first time ever last night and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back and explore more menu items. I’d love to experience a Bollywood night there as well.

I ate here for the first time the other night and the food was phenomenal! Every single thing was delicious. We ordered the samosa, special aloo tikki, chilli honey potatoes, garlic naan, and chole. 100% will be back, highly recommend. Can't wait to try the veg lunch box!
