Fantastic breakfast. The secret to a top-shelf Horseshoe is the gravy; quite simply this is the best I’ve ever had. Flavorful with a touch of kick, perfect consistency. Egg sandwich was also a hit. All dishes had a LOT of meat. Friendly and professional server. Great location. Highest recommendation.

Food wasn’t very good. I had a ham omelette that looked presentable but had little to no actual flavor and was pretty spongy. The ham bits within tasted sour and made the omelette almost inedible as I didn’t finish it and felt sick afterwards. My girlfriend got an omelette and said the jalapeños in it tasted like they were pickeled which is odd for an omelette as opposed to fresh ones. When i got my food the lady told me “i’m not sure if those potatoes are all the way cooked they don’t look like it but let me know” which is a weird thing to say to a customer but they were fine. They had a buffet for $12 but i decided to skip that as the only thing in the buffet was basically just bagels and bread and oatmeal. They said there was nothing hot out since the hotel wasn’t very busy but if that’s the case just shut down the buffet and don’t charge $12 for essentially nothing. For me and my girlfriend our total was $41 which is quite expensive for only having an omelette and potato wedges. I felt as if the food we had would
be worth about $7.50 per plate at the absolute most. The lady also forgot they had my card when i went to pay and had it for a solid 10 minutes. But hey they do have a good cup of coffee so if that’s all you want you’ll love it here.

Restaurant is in the Doubletree hotel, downtown Springfield. Offer buffet and menu items. Food is good for the downtown Springfield area; especially since there are not many options downtown.

Service was great, but the food wasn't very good and way overpriced. My son wanted cereal and some OJ. He got 2 small boxes, a carton of milk, and a glass of OJ and it was $10.75. For two kids and 1 adult to eat it ended up costing $50. The scrambled eggs were rubbery, the bacon an sausage were way overdone. French toast sticks were tough. It was all normal stuff hotels typically give their guests for free for staying and it was definitely NOT worth the price. The fresh fruit was good and nice variety, but that's about it.

We had a long drive and looked forward to only having to walk to the lobby to eat dinner. The restaurant bar was brightly lit, with sparse tables spread in the room (a layout I presume was Covid influenced). There was only one staff working, tending bar and waiting tables, but that was OK because we were essentially the only ones there. The menu was limited, but all options were in the price range expected of a high-end restaurant. The food was acceptable, and the service was efficient, but it was devoid of character felt like we were eating in an empty spare room. There were ballgames on the big screen, which I liked, but annoyed my wife. We should have crossed the street to a real restaurant.

Over priced, poor service and stuck in a hotel. Why should you not want to go to such a place. The only reason to visit this restaurant is if you were afraid to leave the hotel. You are justified if fear is the driving force on picking a place to eat when visiting Springfield.

We ate breakfast here and it was wonderful. The only thing it didn't have at the buffet was biscuits and gravy.

Hotel is clean, staff is ok. Will at the front desk was indifferent. I’m a diamond member, my wife is gold we booked two rooms and used rewards certificates. Will at the front desk only put my name on each room at check in, no additional guests…. This meant that I was out of pocket for a very basic hotel breakfast. $100 for breakfast was definitely not worth what we received. Wyndham has a nice offering, even the Hampton Inn would likely have been a better option. I expect the Hilton Brand to be the best. This one definitely isn’t.

Service was great. Food was creative and customized for the property. Would have liked more than one toaster being available. Some of the held foods could have been hotter. (Hash browns) It is pricey, but the norm for onsite dining.

My wife and I went there for the weekend buffet for breakfast and was told about the mother's day buffet to have we've been there once before and was very very satisfied.
