I've always liked the food, but find it very frustrating that they often don't answer the phone when trying to phone in a take out order. Also, there's no online ordering which I'd gladly do.
Delightful experience. It is a clean place with bunch of food options. Staff is wonderful. We ordered some wontons, spring rolls, drunken noodles and massaman curry. Everything was delicious.
Would visit again.

The menu is not clear on the fact that almost everything here has fish sauce in it. And the veggie section (3 items) was incredibly bland. I felt bad giving 2 stars because this could be so good, and the place is nice. And the owner seemed nice.
Stupidly good Thai food. Honestly raise the bar for Thai food everywhere else and I have yet to find somewhere that meets the standard Magic Kitchen sets

I frequent Magic Kitchen a few times per month. The staff is wonderful; they truly make you feel welcome and cared for. The Chili Paste dish is nothing short of spectacular every single time. To top it off, their service is incredibly efficient and quick. These folks set an honorable standard in the restaurant business. Thank you guys!

Best Thai food in town.

Stopped in while passing through Springfield, although I grew up there and used to visit the original location a lot as a kid ;). Wanted a taste of nostalgia and flavors that are frankly, hard to find done the same way even at other Thai restaurants in the U.S.
We ordered egg rolls, garlic salmon, stir fried green curry chicken, and my 6 year old had beef oyster with no mushroom or bamboo. Incredibly close in flavor to how I remembered it from over 30 years ago, which is a remarkable.
I ordered the curry hot, and it was exactly as hot as I liked it (very hot) and with a a strong curry flavor and basil leaf mixed in.
Salmon was richly garlicky and flavorful. Beef oyster flavor was very good, maybe a touch more sear would be perfect. My son doesn’t do much spice, and mild beef oyster was perfect for him.
Fast, excellent food, at reasonable prices.

Restaurantji Recommends
I recently tried the chicken pad Thai at this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The dish was flavorful and well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the noodles were tender. The restaurant maintained a clean and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking delicious pad Thai.

Recently visited Magic Kitchen and ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. It costed me $15 with tips as to go order. The flavor was good, but I was a bit disappointed by the small portion of chicken—probably around 2 ounces of tiny pieces. Despite this, I’m willing to give it another shot next time.

I have always loved this place since the 90s. Yes, I wish they still had the pies/desserts from back then (who wouldn't love homemade white chocolate macadamia nut pie?!), but each of the entrees is how I remember them, and the egg rolls/peanut sauce is unmatched. I would recommend this place to ANYONE!
Always delicious

Disappointed today. Stopped in for a to go order of our favs, but.. Food was tasteless except for the heat. Rice and noodles were soggy. Definitely a bummer on this trip.
