Excellent experience - best steak ever (seriously), attentive and super personable server Jared, ambiance was phenomenal. We live here and regret that we’ve spent so many years without having visited Mariah’s. We had the surf & turf, two choice filets and a prime filet, seasoned vegetables, salads, chicken noodle soup (ummm, there’s something special about that soup. Even my anti veggie kids loved it!), and some type of to-die-for chocolate ganache cheesecake. So many thoughts - Mariah’s was honestly one of the very best restaurants we’ve ever visited and definitely the best steak ever. How does anyone get steaks that perfectly cooked and seasoned??? Kudos to the chef!! Jared never missed a beat. Our glasses were always full, eg made perfect recommendations which we often chose. He was confident, friendly, present - and the best part - he knew that menu like nobody’s business! Loved him!! To top it off, the sweetest owner ever came to check on us and was complimentary of his staff which you just don’t hear very often. What a wonderful place!! We’ll be back a lot!!!

We both had the T-Bone and it was cooked perfectly and tasty. Along with that was a fluffy baked potato and salad. Lobster Bisque was delicious. Service was good.

My husband and I visited Mariah’s steakhouse and it was absolutely amazing! We both ordered the Prime Ribeye Steaks! Their cheesecake is to die for also! The owner was our waiter and he was outstanding! We even took a picture with him! I wish we lived closer because we would definitely be regulars! If you are ever in the Springfield IL area this is a must!

One of the worst dining experiences we've had. Our waiter was rude and made my wife feel like a horrible. She asked a simple question and with a arrogant tone he replied your not from around here are you. We're in the Midwest you can't get fresh lobster here. Wow just because your from New York don't mean it's ok to belittle your guest. My steak was good the sautéed onions were phenomenal. She got pasta and it was low quality and the sauce was not to our liking either. The rest of the staff we interacted with was very friendly but after several rude comments to us and his guest at the tables next to us we just couldn't take it anymore.

I've been coming to Springfield for over 20 years, in my opinion, Mariah's provides the best food in town - hands down. The staff is great, I always get excellent service. I would highly recommend.

Amazing service friendly staff that constantly checks in on you. Perfect place for date or family visit. The food was fresh and amazing. Definitely would revisit if I'm ever in the Springfield area again. Oh and the strawberry cheesecake is great!

From beginners to end the experiment was superb The server who greeted us at the door “Mitch” was welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable. He presented himself professionally and like an owner of the restaurant, that is to care as much for the experience that each guest should have. Food was excellent!
Ben had the best customer service skills in the world! The atmosphere is very intimate. I love going there it’s one of my favorite places to go if your celebrating a special day. The food is amazing as well I would definitely recommend Matriah’s to anyone

Food was okay. Average at best. I had higher expectations. Soup was good. The real problem was the environment. A/C was stuck on full blast. Was very cold in seating area. Staff was apologetic. We just wanted to leave right after meal. If you go, bring a sweater/coat.

We took our gymnastic team here for a celebration dinner & it was very tasty. The service was very good. The portions were huge & we left stuffed.
