There are lots of options for donuts in Springfield including four close to my home. I'm particularly fond of Mel-O-Cream oreo donuts and varieties filled with Bavarian cream. But what especially stands out with this location are the counter staff. They are so welcoming, so pleasant, smiling, and friendly that I enjoy coming here more than the other donut shops. Obviously, others agree with me because the store sells out quickly. I come before 10:00am and try to get here...
rachel rules!!! an often overlooked but integral part of a donut shop experience is the cheerful countenance you find behind the counter and rachel’s smile is even brighter than the warm nostalgic yellow walls
Best overpriced donuts in the city...they've been a staple to the city of Springfield IL for decades, but now have serious competition. They're a little arrogant about that, thinking that because they've been around the longest they're going to remain in business by default ?♂️...but they are good donuts, no doubt...
