Went to foundry kitchen for the first time and it was great. Order at the front and go and sit down. The music was loud, making conversations hard to hear. The music was one of the only mad things however. The food came out quite fast and it was very amazing. I got the foundry horseshoe, which is good. The one thing I will have to say is the amount of fries given. I barely got to my protein in the middle because of the fries. Everyone I was with also had a lot of fries. The fries were good but I personally think it was too much. Less fries would have slowed me to finish my whole meal. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

The Foundry Kitchen was a great place to stop and eat lunch! The food was super scrumptious! The portion sizes were pretty big though, so if you are not super hungry I would say to share with a friend! I got the pulled pork sandwich and my friend got the buffalo chicken horseshoe pizza. Both were amazing, but we didn’t end up finishing either of them. The fries were my ideal fry, they were seasoned well and not too crispy. My only complaint was that the music was a bit loud. Other than that, I would say this is a great place to check out!

My coworkers and I have been to a ton of different places for lunch around downtown Springfield but always end up coming back here as our usual spot. Never had a bad meal and the employees are super friendly.

Food is great, decent bar atmosphere but the staff was awful and grumpy. Took 45 mins to get a sandwich with no explanation or warning about the long wait. When I inquired about my food twice, I was told to wait, or greeted with an “are you serious stare”. Not friendly at all and don’t expect anyone to offer to refill your drink either. Not sure why I tipped in advance. Won’t be doing that again.

By the atmosphere I didn't expect for the food to be much of anything, Very surprised by the food. Lots of flavor. You have to go up and order your food at the counter then a server brings it to you, then you clean up after yourself. Reminded me of a fast food restaurant for yuppy people. Not very much seating available. The foundry kitchen is the kitchen inside of the bar called a Anvil and Forged brewery. The outdoor patio was not open because it was raining.

Cool place, however it is loud and noisy. Took 30 minutes to get our food. Cuban sandwich was very dry. Overall I did not enjoy my visit to this place.

One of the best restaurants in Springfield. Pizza is excellent, wings are great and maybe the best Mac n Cheese in town.
Great local spot
The food here is amazing! You might have a long wait, but they will tell you before you place an order, so that’s your choice. The burger is delicious! Also the chicken sandwich… omg to die for! I can’t believe some of the low ratings on here, but maybe it’s one specific dish or the wait time that’s causing it. You won’t be disappointed if you eat here.
Was not good, my dough on the margarita pizza was raw, the SMALLEST amount of cheese on there wasn’t even melted, our fried chicken was so salty, the fries were very soggy. We ordered a grilled cheese and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grilled cheese like this…service was also medium but we did have to wait an hour and a half and couldn’t eat there because there was no seating. Spent too much money for my families food to be this disappointing.

Worst place I’ve ever been too - had an hour 1/2 wait time. Got two basket of chicken and chips - The chicken was covered in salt and didn’t have any flavor. The fries were soggy and looked like they sat in a warmer for hours called to talk with a manager and was told they weren’t in.
The food was so bad my chicken tenders were Salty and my fries were soggy
They were very busy and told us it would be an hour and half wait for the food. We went ahead and ordered and came back and picked it up. We spent nearly $100 on 2 orders of chicken tenders with fries, 1 Grilled cheese and a Margherita pizza. The chicken tenders were extremely salty, the pizza had maybe 6 chunks of mozzarella cheese and I have no words for why this grilled cheese looks like it's been fried and tastes like a ball of grease. We won't be returning.
If you haven’t been since they revamped the kitchen recently do yourself a favor and check it out. Great menu, quality ingredients and nice portions make for a great bang for the buck. Atmosphere inside and in their area outside is very nice. Top it off with great service and you have yourself a winner!
