I was at an event last night hosted by my friends organization and as soon as we got to the event I walked in with my 2 friends and my baby, the bartender that had nothing to do with our event immediately started yelling at me that I had to get out and get the baby outta here and we weren't welcomed. I said ok I didn't realize I couldn't have her I'm here with a separate organization and he didn't care and kicked me out had me and my 1yr old waiting outside while it was windy and about 60 degrees out until someone from the event cleared us and let us back in. After that me and my friend tried to get something to drink at the bar area and we were going back to the event I wanted a coke, and he barked at me that my id was fake..I had a temporary paper Id until my hard copy came in the mail and I told him it's not fake I just got it while I wait for the real thing then he got clearly agitated and started yelling for us to leave and he's not serving me even tho I just wanted a coke and caused no issues. As I was walking out he followed me from behind the counter and walked up on me as if to put hands on me (I'm a 5"2 120lb female) aggressively still yelling at me and threatening to call the cops if I didn't move faster. The experience was so humiliating and triggering.. My whole time there was horrible from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. I've never experienced something like this it was genuinely traumatizing. The bar tenders name is Tim. A taller bald white guy. Hope they hire people that actually have good customer service eventually. I was so excited to be there too...
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly they will kick you and your kid out.

Service 0/5Drinks 1/5Food ?/5Conflict resolution and deescalation skills -50/5Carding policy 10/5I came here for a private, fundraiser event host by my organization. Not only was the bartender not happy to be there, but made it apparent and everyone else's problem. I get the need to follow rules and polices and most importantly, the law. I hate ranting and I hate judging a small business off one experience but I'm genuinely stunned by the treatment I recieved here and very upset. My friend and I tried to get a water and a pop at the bar during a private event hosted by my organization. The bartender refused service because my friend had a paper temp ID. He claimed it was fake, not a valid form and that we need "the old ID with the hole in it" because "thats the law". However, the law usually states that old IDs with the hole punch is an invalid form of identification while a paper copy is. The problem really escalated when he said that he would "get the police involved if we wanted to argue about it" when we tried telling him that paper IDs are real IDs, it's not against the law to take them, and that we only wanted a coke. And before everyone wonders if I'm karen-ing out, i know we weren't hostile about it. I've worked food service and own a smoke shop where carding is a regular and important aspect to my job and the safety of the youth. I would never be mad about following the law or the company policy. But it felt like this bartender was acting like he was dealing with drunk fighting a-holes at a 3am night club than a 2 ppl from a corporate fundraising event at 7pm. The bartender acted like he NEVER seen a paper ID before and he was just so quick to reference the police like we were trying to fight. Out exchange maybe last bout a solid 3 minutes where he reference the police 5 times. All and all, this isn't even getting into the attitude problem he had with the other patrons and members of the organization. We did hear him upset that he had to work and make drinks but if he didn't want to work, he didn't have to be unfriendly, disrespectful and aggressive about it. Just call in sick next time.

Had a horrible experience here. The bartender was completely Racist. He can not make drinks. I ordered 2 lemon drops for $30 and they were gross. I asked him to remake he had a complete attitude and proceeded to ask me what ingredients go in a lemon drop. He then processed to kick 3 individuals out who were ID’d for water and a club soda, each person of age. They say their policy is that you have to be 21 to be in the establishment, yet they do not ID people when they enter. Apparently, it is against the law to present a temporary ID in the event that someone got a new ID from the DMV. They would rather you present an invalid hard copy ID.

I hosted a corporate event for 100 people in the Gin Mill Lounge space and everyone had a wonderful time. Jason and his staff were attentive and the space was nicely appointed. We would love to host another event here in the future. Highly recommend!
Drinks were made just right with elegance and style! Nice outdoor area with space and happy place.

Good place, nice pool tables and shuffleboard in the back.Parking and accessibility is not great, but not terrible either.
Wheelchair accessibility: If you can find parking and get through the entrance airlock, it's fine. There's not really any nearby accessible parking though, and that's a problem.

[Gin Lounge] Add a mirror and paper towel dispenser (to both bathrooms)...Increase the brightness by 25%, remove some of the lounge couches and chairs. Add games(darts, pool etc.) and increase the size of the dance floor.Think about how many bars have a 3:00 liquor license, take full advantage of it and maximize this space. If you were a 1:00 bar, I respect the lounge vibe, but because you are one of the elite bars in this town with a 3:00 license, make your presence known.Love Gin Mill, but I want Gin Mill Lounge to rival every other 3:00 bar. Great vibes!
The bartenders know how to make a gimlet on point ? and they have comfy af chairs
An inviting bar. Fun bartender who knows his stuff and a great conversationalist.
A great place to hang with friends, shoot some pool, and throw some darts. Nice outdoor area too.
Gin Mill is always a great time with perfect drinks in each pour and beer to the rim! Super cute out back area also and pool tables!
