Another disappointing meal just outside Chicago. This is the worst Chinese food. Panda Express is better. I ordered 2 Shrimp egg rolls first off the was no shrimp, only something that looked like shredded beef. They were so overcooked they were burnt almost black. I ordered General Tso's chicken. It wasn't General Tso's chicken. It was kind of a cross between orange chicken or sweet and sour. I also ordered an order of Crispy Fried Wontons. They were so overcooked, I could hardly bite through them. I ordered hot and sour soup. It tasted good! I'm a food critic, and a great cook. I would be embarrassed to serve this food. It is sad anyone would be proud to serve this garbage out of their restaurant. This left me hungry and out about $40.00 because this food went into the trash.

We just moved to the area - this will be our new spot! All the food we got was very tasty and lots of food for the price! Keep in mind it's mostly takeout only but totally worth it!

Good Chinese food closest place I found to matching Chicago style Chinese food. And the service is always friendly. Not a place I would go sit down and eat but excellent for delivery or takeout.

I would give them 4.5 stars, but since that's not an option I'll give them 5. Just moved into the area & on the hunt for our go to places. Found China Garden. It's a nice family owned & operated business & we always like supporting those being business owners ourselves.Pros: Homemade egg rolls that had great flavor. Good Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, & Lo Mein.Cons: Not my favorite dumplings, but that doesn't mean they weren't good.Everything was made fresh to order, and overall had good flavor. It always takes time to get used to a new restaurant, because your used to the precious place & how they made their food.

My fiancé & I ordered worth $50 of food on our way back from visiting his parents, once we arrived home we came to see we had the entirely wrong order. Not 1 single thing was correct, we must’ve gotten somebody’s else’s! Which isn’t even the worst part! We called back the moment we realized to the mistake to be met with an incompetent person on the other end who put us on hold 2 times for at least 3 minutes at a time. Us being the people we are we decided they must be busy! Until who ever was answering calls came back on to say “we’re sorry we’re gonna have to call you back.” Which to we tried to explain what was happening & were responded with “we’re busy.”My fiancé and I are shocked as we have been ordering from this place for awhile & have never experienced this & they’ve usually been amazing! Just wanted to share our experience! Ended up having to dispute our charge, unfortunate, but cannot justify paying $50 for something we did not order.

There is only one reason I am giving China Garden 2 stars and it is because their prices have gone through the roof . I have ordered from them for years and I find the food to be good , however a bill for over $40 tonight was excessive. It certainly will inhibit further orders .

My go-to is Thai food. But on a night where we couldn’t get it delivered we decided to try China Garden. It hit the spot! Flavors felt fresh. The sesame chicken was crunchy and not soggy. And the steamed dumplings were good too. The prices were so reasonable especially these days. I don’t know too many places that do a combo with an entree and fried rice for $10. Check it out!
Absolutely no flavor. Threw half of it away. Maybe it's an off day but I won't be ordering from here again.

We order from China garden two or three times a month. The restaurant is only for order pick up. No place to sit which is fine. The food is absolutely spectacular. Always fresh. Always on time. Never greasy. I wish they had a restaurant with full service, because I would be there every week. They really have fantastic food.
