We had an absolutely awesome experience at El Jacalito in Sterling! The tacos were outstanding—my wife and I tried a variety, including chicken, steak, and al pastor, all topped with fresh cilantro and onion. The salsa, especially with a squeeze of lime, elevated the flavors to another level. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, and everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. We'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings! Highly recommend!
The new place is fantastic. More table room. Nice atmosphere. Great location. The food is as delicious as it always is. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. Prices are affordable.

Best Mexican cuisine in the Sauk Valley!Parking: There's a lot of other bars and restaurants in the downtown, so parking can be a pain. Usually, I end up walking a half block or so, but it's worth it, and a little walk after being stuffed silly is good.
