“The most fun night I have ever had at a bar in my life, and I am old! We (my sister and I) stopped there on the way to Branson, and met so many fun, kind people from Kadie the barmaid (who looks like Sally on the Young & the Restless), to Darrin dressed like CrownRoyal Apple,to the 4 nurses from the local hospital (twin sisters among them), to a pretty gal who dances for a living, to the absolute cute guy who was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Effingham, to the many truckers who drove for General Motors, special order motorhome deliveries, meat and produce cross-country drivers, etc. Everybody knew everybody it seemed, and they knew our names by the end of the night. It was a blast! Definitely would return again! You and your regular customers are super!”

“We were traveling thru and stopped in Effingham & had an amazing dinner at Firefly Grill! Pulling into the parking lot, you recognize right away this is a special place.
Greeted graciously at the door, everyone makes you feel like you are their primary and only customer to wait on. Mixologists at the bar are fantastic, waiters/waitresses attentive & wonderful and food is unique & phenominal.
We will definitely put this on our regular stops heading North & South!”

“We happened to need to go to Effingham today and I remembered seeing this place on FB, with great reviews.We ordered two pizzas and nachos. Some of the best we've ever had. Loaded with toppings all the way to the edges, Seasoned nicely. We had a meatlovers and supreme (can't remember the actual names), but they have some unique specialty pizzas that also sound delicious. Prices not bad and very friendly service too. We will definitely return and recommend to friends.”

“I don’t like to leave poor reviews but hoping this will help the restaurant do better. We ordered at 1:09 pm, at 1:30 I finally went up front to check on our food. I did this because I saw others eating that were in line behind me. My tray with my children’s meals was sitting there, holding on cheese curds. I was able to grab my food. My bun was as hard as a rock, food was Luke warm. They should have brought my food then brought out the curds later. Also, I received 12 cheese curds, this was very upsetting considering it’s a $2 up charge for curds. Never had issues in the past, hoping just a fluke because we love Culver’s!”

“Joe’s Pizza in Effingham has the BEST wings, by far. No comparison. In addition, their pizza, pasta, subs are hard to beat. The honey pepperoni pizza is delicious. The Nashville chicken on a salad is glorious. Delivery is always on time. I order frequently, and I’m never disappointed. Great food, great service, in-house and delivery. I’m a fan, and I thank you for giving me great food!”

“Great little Mexican spot. Big portions at a reasonable price. I got tamale enchiladas combo. They have real good red sauce too. Pretty standard chips and salsa, but they actually give you a respectable amount of salsa so you can dip deep like a og dipper. Restaurant is clean, it looks like it's a little dated definitely needs some fresh paint. However, the food is good and I'm here to eat not look at the construction choices.”
