Always very lovely people and quick, you get in and out with your order, we always order the large tray with potato fries, chicken itself and everything else that comes with it. This goes hand in hand for when there's no cooked food in the house and we need something quick and not fast food, tasty fries tasty rice and beans, all in all, amazing asset to the neighborhood this place is.
This was the best pollo asado that I've had in Chicagoland. Better than the King in Arlington heights. This place is the real deal. Tasted like I was at a backyard BBQ, it's delicious and huge portions.
I'm sad to report... it was awful.
We were hoping a few positive reviews were true. Both our orders were supposed to be steak meat but was mainly grisle and filler like onions. We didn't touch those fries or the grilled onions. If you want to keep customers coming back, try making the meal with ONLY the finest ingredients and please hold the grisle. I guess we should have driven to our favorite restaurant even it meant dealing with traffice or we should have had that bowl of cereal tonight.
You live and learn.
I've been coming here for almost 3 years and every time it's so good. Clean inside and a nice restaurant, great staff. Food is amazing. I recommend the chicken tacos and the enchiladas are also amazing.

Yesterday I went to eat at this place and I was really surprised. To begin with, the place did not have hot water to wash your hands, there was no heating, the place was very cold, the super salty food on the menu specified that they served hand-made tortillas, which was not true, they gave me a package of heated tortillas. in the microwave, bad service from the person who runs the place, by the way, very rude, I do not recommend this place at all. If you can avoid it better. It was my first and last time I went to this place. What a bad experience. They should close the place out of respect for the customers.

Just had six absolutely fantastic steak tacos. Since we live a few blocks from there we always get takeout. Orders always come with free fries, a big grilled jalapeno and onions. The tortillas had a crispy fry to them this time which was awesome.
Always friendly service...and their burritos are huge and tasty. We don't eat out much but I actually have them in my phone contacts so I don't have to look it up whenever I want great Mexican food.

I would like to give it a chance and try something different from the tacos I ate, I didn't like the roast beef, it was tough, I didn't like it at all, I liked that my takeout order came with fries and a roasted chili, that would never happen I had seen it nowhere else and I liked that size but the roast beef was not at all

Had a delicious lunch today at El Papi Pollo!! I ordered Pozole Verde which I had been craving and was not disappointed. My daughter had the chilaquiles which were served with beans, rice and eggs over easy. Another thumbs up. My brother ordered the pambazo. Delicious!! Very generous portions and plenty of leftovers. Our host offered us a cup of freshly brewed cafe de la olla which was prepared in the traditional way with piloncillo and cinnamon. Sooooo tasty!!! Thumbs up all around. Looking forward to our next visit.

I recently visited your establishment and purchased a chicken. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. In my opinion, the chicken did not taste as though it had been freshly cooked. It seemed as if the chicken had been pre-cooked and then reheated, possibly as a time-saving measure. As a customer, I am willing to wait for my food to be prepared fresh, as I do not want to receive a meal that has been cooked twice.
Additionally, I noticed that an extra charge of over 3% was added to my bill because I paid with a credit card. It is disheartening to see this practice, which I have encountered frequently at various Latino-owned businesses. As a business owner myself, I believe that if I choose to offer my customers the convenience of paying by card, it is my responsibility to absorb the associated bank fees. Alternatively, if this cost is too burdensome, businesses should consider accepting only cash payments rather than passing these fees onto customers. Charging customers extra in this way feels like an abuse of trust, and in my view, it amounts to a form of exploitation.
I hope you will consider these concerns seriously, as they directly impact customer satisfaction and loyalty.
