So honestly there food is delicious 🤤 🔥 my pizza was fresh reasonable & very affordable my 2nd time this time I picked up I gave the the service 4 out of 5 the young lady was sweet nice & very professional only thing was lbvs I ordered 2 slices of your delicious Pepperoni 🍕 I was given 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of Pep regardless the food was good and hit the spot! 👍

Villa Nova Pizzeria has been owned and operated by the same family in the same location since 1955. For 70 years, this no-frills pizza parlor/bar has put out one of the best tavern-cut pizzas in the Chicago area, an ultra paper-thin crust that reminds of the old Jolly Roger in Urbana, Illinois, that I frequented as a college student and young newspaper reporter in the 1960s. What is tavern style? It's a crust firm enough ro have a noticeable crunch with slices cut into squares, not wedges. Villa Nova also offers a Detroit style pizza, a rectangular pan pizza with a thick, crisp and chewy crust with a lot of cheese spread out to the edges, fatty and creamy and melts easily, as in Wisconsin Brick Cheese. Located at 6821 West Pershing Road in Berwyn, in Stickney township, Villa Nova offers customers an opportunity to "build your own thin crust pizza." I'm not into such toppings as onions or mushrooms or pineapple or jalapenos. I'm very satisfied with a 14-inch large pizza with house sausage, extra cheese, extra sausage and extra sauce. Certainly one of the best tasting pizzas I've ever experienced. But I also am content with a dinner of garlic bread, Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, house-made croutons and parmesan cheese, spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and home-made tiramisu. Villa Nova is open from 4 to 9 Monday through Thursday, 2 to 10 on Friday, 3 to 10 on Saturday and 2 to 9 on Sunday. After seven decades at the same old stand, they certainly know what they are doing.

I wasn't that hungry when I ordered my half sausage pizza. It was more I was in the area opportunity. As soon soon as I walked in the smell was so intoxicating. Mouth started watering. Was early so I had to wait 10 mins or so. My pizza comes out nice and hot. Get to my car and help myself from having a slice now. Stupid me of course knowing it's very hot to eat. But no must try now. So delicious. Both the edge and bottom crust are crackly. Sausage is excellent. Cheese perfect. Delicious pizza. This was a week ago and writing this now is making me want to go there!!
