But don't let the secret out that you can get the full BCBS experience here in the fall without the crowd.“

“As soon as you walk in the door you realize that it’s not a bar - it’s a comfortable shoe, a true neighborhood joint that is congenial and friendly. Love the signs such as Hamns Beer $ 3 every day and Chicago sports photos on the walls; excellent tavern style pizza ! Love the history behind the building It’s a classic that reminds of the bars in my hood on the Southside of Chicago“

“We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

“Great neighborhood dive bar; good prices, great pub food, pool table, juke box, decent craft beer selection, outdoor seating area, nice mix of clientele. Highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich, burgers, fried mushrooms and pierogi's with sour cream.
Parking: Free Street parking, never had an issue. You can park across the street in the bank parking lot when it's closed, don't park there when the bank is open!“

“I LOVE this place cuz it my neighborhood bar but the new hires are charging tooooo much for one drink in a lil PLASTIC cup . It’s not busy like before & I think that’s why. When I started going both sides were jumping the drinks were on point and affordable but now it’s that one side and it’s a lil dead & a lot of times closed! 😒 I don’t know want this place to die out like every other place . Fix it ? ❤️ $38 for 2 drinks ,plastic cups & not even half way full . I got money but that’s ridiculous ! Js.“

“I came from San Francisco to visit a friend and was interested in trying out a cozy neighborhood pub. This place gave me 'Cheers' vibes (loved the banter between the patrons and the proprietor) we got the BLT which was super tasty. Non-pretentious, good food-drinks + relaxed ambiance…just what we were searching for!“

“I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.“

“I noticed the photos of various legends displayed on the walls. The owner, Jeremiah, was very friendly. I love egg rolls. I was impressed with the variety of egg rolls on the menu. I ordered the philly egg roll and the j*** chicken egg roll. They were both very tasty. I will return to try others.“

“Social Junkie is one the top 3 best bars in the dunning area. I’ve been coming here since they rebranded and it’s always been a fun time! Great drink selections and their food is outstanding. I’ve tried a couple of different items from their menu over the years and I recently got their Parma burger and fries. They were both delightful and it’s one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I can’t explain it, but the taste was so unique and also very affordable compared to other bar and grills in the city. It’s a worth a visit when you are in the dunning area!“

“Food was very good. Our server was good. Great selection of adult beverages. Great look for a sports type bar. Only thing I can ding them on is how long it took to get food. I would visit again if I'm in the area. I do recommend you give it a try.“
