“First time trying this place yesterday. It was excellent! I ordered a gyros dinner to go, and an order or fried mushrooms. The dinner came with a Greek salad, which was delicious. The gyro dinner had an abundance of meat and quite a bit of fries, with tomatoes and red onion. It was outstanding! The sauce for the gyro is made in-house and is very good! I did order and extra pita (the dinner comes with 1) and I'm glad I did, because there was just way too much meat for 1 pita! Overall, it was great! The staff, I think it was the owner, was very friendly and nice. I'll definitely be back!“

Hungry and unsure of what to get, I stumbled upon a Farmer’s Fridge vending machine and decided to give it a try. I chose the chicken Caesar salad, not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, and it tasted far better than I anticipated. It was a convenient and satisfying option, and I’d definitely grab one again in a pinch!“

I recently hosted a dinner for a baby shower for my daughter in their side room. Had 14 people with a catered menu of chicken limone, beef tenderloin, gnocchi, salad, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables for a very reasonable price. “I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since I drive pass it often. Today me and my husband tried it the first time for lunch. Very very good. My husband is very particular when it comes to Asian food since he is Asian himself and has his spots in the city we visit. We ordered a few things to share and try. The portions are very generous and we ordered too much as usual but we wanted to try several things. We had the shrimp soup in coconut milk and veggies ( I can't remember the name). Very good. I would come back for that. Also we had the Papaya salad. To me, this was the only thing I probably wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad, but I prefer my husbands which is hotter and a few more things in it. Then we ordered a chicken skewer with a peanut curry sauce. This was great. Very tender and the sauce omg . I asked the server if he could bring a tiny little bowl with some pho broth to taste it. My husband is a pain in the butt about his pho in the suburbs. He approved of it. That's a complement to them then haha. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp Thai spice level. And omg yesss! So good. I can't wait to take my older son here, he will love it. My husband got the glass noodles with crispy duck. It was so darn good and the duck was perfect. Soft, crispy but not oily. We also had Thai tea. Very good. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.“

“Greetings my Foodzies, tonight we decided to try a restaurant that we have passed by numerous times. The great escape on Irving at 9540 w Irving Park rd. in Schiller Park.
This is a unique restaurant that has been around for years. The property has a rich history (see the picture I have posted with the story).
The restaurant’s bar area is very rustic with a bar that was hand carved in 1889, very impressive. TVs have been added to draw in a people who want to eat and have a drink while watching TV. Also a gaming section in the bar area.
Music is old school 50-60s, our server Mareen was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.
We started with Grilled Calamari it was grilled nicely but could have used a few more seconds to get a little more char flavor. It was also missing the signature balsamic. Glenda chose the Rigatoni in Vodka sauce with chicken; the chicken was scarce and the sauce was not the traditional sauce it had an odd flavor, not terrible but not what we expected. With a cup of lentil soup, tasty but needed a little extra salt. I chose the baby back ribs and broasted chicken (these dishes they are known for) the chicken was very good, crispy skin and very juicy. The ribs were tender but a little dry. The BBQ sauce was the recipe is the recipe of the owner’s grandfather. It was a Kansas City type sweet sauce with a nice smoky flavor (as a first time patron we were given a bottle to take home). I had the baked French onion soup topped with mozzarella, I’m used to Gruyere, Swiss, or Gouda but ut was very good.
I give this restaurant 4 stars, let me know what you think. Ciao, Ciao for now.“

“What a pleasant surprise. Pretty solid food. With generous portions. All at very reasonable prices considering it's in an airport. 2 of the veggie burritos (one had guac, which was an extra $2.59) came to just under $30. They have a seperate Vegan menu that's clearly labeled, with 3 different options. The veggies were fresh- squash, kale, spinach. We will definitely come back here the next time we need a meal at O'Hare. Updated from previous review on 2025-06-30“

Our group ordered the rib dinner & pork tenderloin dinner.
Food was so very good! Salad was good with the garlic dressing. Ribs meaty & tender! Baked potato was excellent! Pork tenderloin very tender. Generous portions! The complimentary apple pie was outstanding!

“Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but the service was truly unmatched! There was a handicapped gentlemen that came in after my husband and myself so they asked if we could move to a booth for easier seating for the gentleman’s wheel chair. We of course moved. Not only did they ask so nicely, the manager Crystal, comped some of our items! She was so friendly and super professional! Our server Heather was also the best waitress we’ve had in a long long time! She was timely, efficient, and very accommodating!
