Stop long enough to have a couple of lemonade spilled all over myself in the bartender was very nice gave me a towel to clean up after my mess and gave me an additional lemonade we sat at the outside bar which is phenomenal definitely get the spot a try

Make sure you don't have anything time sensitive until after their business hours, or you're probably not going to enjoy the experience. Delicious panini sandwiches, soups, and iced coffee drinks with a kitschy atmosphere. Be ready to want to return...”

“I live in Bettendorf so I don’t get over to Rock Island very often. This place was recommend to me by C & J Upholstery to wait for my car. Since it was breakfast time I ordered the Philly Steak Omelette with wheat toast and fresh fruit. The serving size was very generous and all the food was delicious!! Five different Fresh Fruits, good wheat toast and the omelette was delicious and huge! It took me 45 minutes to eat all of it. I also had coffee and it was perfect for my taste. My service was excellent and timely. All the staff was friendly and helpful; especially Maddie and Nick who were my servers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment and will probably bring my wife with me soon even though we live across the river a little ways from here.”

The Bootleggers are also great about passing messages to the actors if you ask them to. The cast and crew truly appreciate it when fans create art or cosplay as characters from the show. Overall, it’s a fantastic theater experience in a wonderful venue—I enjoy it every time!”

“They were running a special on the Hog Skillet the morning we came in. Apparently, they were using a special pork tenderloin for it so we both decided to order it. The food came out quickly but the sliced, breaded pork tenderloin was so hard and rubbery that neither of us could stomach it. My friend let the server know and she apologized profusely before taking the dishes away and bringing out new ones, STAT. The second Hog Skillet was so much better. The pork tenderloin was nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way it should be! The server said that they went back to the original recipe for the re-make. The bad batch was frozen, I guess. This is a lesson not to cut corners! It's awful that the first dish was not up to standards but the staff all addressed the situation very professionally.”

“Steve's is what I would call a neighborhood bar. On the small side inside but makes excellent use of the space. They have 7 or 8 TV's, including a large screen on one wall. There are video gaming machines, an ATM and karaoke on Monday nights. They serve food, including sandwiches, tacos, and other delights. And, of course, a wide variety of beers and drinks.”

“You’ll be hard pressed to find kinder, more skilled bartenders in the Quad Cities. Their patio is ideal and their old fashioned recipe is my favorite. Management works hard to keep both their staff and their patrons safe and comfortable. They’ll even hook you up with a pup cup for your pupperino.”

“Hidden Gem Alert! We usually hit the coffee shop by Rivercenter, but I happened to drive past this spot and wow — what a find! I got a caramel latte and a fried egg sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The coffee tastes fresh and smooth — not burnt or stale like some places. And the sandwich? So yummy! Prices are totally reasonable too. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re near The Adler or Rivercenter. Definitely bookmarking this for our next dance trip in the spring!”
