Stop long enough to have a couple of lemonade spilled all over myself in the bartender was very nice gave me a towel to clean up after my mess and gave me an additional lemonade we sat at the outside bar which is phenomenal definitely get the spot a try

“I live in Bettendorf so I don’t get over to Rock Island very often. This place was recommend to me by C & J Upholstery to wait for my car. Since it was breakfast time I ordered the Philly Steak Omelette with wheat toast and fresh fruit. The serving size was very generous and all the food was delicious!! Five different Fresh Fruits, good wheat toast and the omelette was delicious and huge! It took me 45 minutes to eat all of it. I also had coffee and it was perfect for my taste. My service was excellent and timely. All the staff was friendly and helpful; especially Maddie and Nick who were my servers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment and will probably bring my wife with me soon even though we live across the river a little ways from here.”

“The staff here is incredibly friendly! They’re always happy to interact with guests, whether before the show or during moments when they step offstage. The Bootleggers are also great about passing messages to the actors if you ask them to. The cast and crew truly appreciate it when fans create art or cosplay as characters from the show. Overall, it’s a fantastic theater experience in a wonderful venue—I enjoy it every time!”

I recommend getting the banh mi red pork sandwich paired with Thai iced tea. The red pork sandwich had sweet flavor as well as a kick of spice, but not too overwhelming. 100/10”

“We had a great experience. The people working were so nice and helpful. I’m glad I listened and got extra Mac and cheese. The fried shrimp and the Shrimp Po’Boy were so good. Hand cut fries are my favorite. And the cornbread was delightful. The Mac and cheese—don’t get just a side. Get a pint. Or more. We took some home from yesterday and it reheats so well. It tastes the same (what other Mac and cheese does that???). It’s amazing. And their remoulade sauce? I should have gotten a pint to go. I want to dip everything in it! We will definitely be back and will be telling everyone how good it is.”

“Just got home from a wonderful evening at Cavort. We started with a drink and a beer. Both were excellent. Moved on to the nachos. We were going to eat half and take the rest home. None came home and they were fabulous. Had chicken piccata and PT chicken; both were beyond expectations. Topped things off with the caramel cake; awesome! Best meal ever in Davenport! Our waitress was so special as well. We will be returning soon. Thanks to our son for the gift card and for supporting the owners/his friends!”

“Steve's is what I would call a neighborhood bar. On the small side inside but makes excellent use of the space. They have 7 or 8 TV's, including a large screen on one wall. There are video gaming machines, an ATM and karaoke on Monday nights. They serve food, including sandwiches, tacos, and other delights. And, of course, a wide variety of beers and drinks.”

“I always purchase a small pepperoni and sausage pizza and have never been disappointed … I love Alfonso’s Pizza in Rock Island … You all ROCK ❣️❣️❣️”

“They were running a special on the Hog Skillet the morning we came in. Apparently, they were using a special pork tenderloin for it so we both decided to order it. The food came out quickly but the sliced, breaded pork tenderloin was so hard and rubbery that neither of us could stomach it. My friend let the server know and she apologized profusely before taking the dishes away and bringing out new ones, STAT. The second Hog Skillet was so much better. The pork tenderloin was nice and moist inside and crispy on the outside. Just the way it should be! The server said that they went back to the original recipe for the re-make. The bad batch was frozen, I guess. This is a lesson not to cut corners! It's awful that the first dish was not up to standards but the staff all addressed the situation very professionally.”
