“I've ordered food from them many times via door dash but I finally got a chance to dine in and it was wonderful! Our server was so kind and helpful and the food was on point. Generous portions and amazing flavor. Love this little spot. Will definitely be back and also order again...and again...and again!“

“This place is always busy, and with good reason - it's popular because the food is great, and so is the service. I usually have the cheese enchiladas or the street steak tacos, because they're both very good -- but this time I decided to try something new, and had the enchiladas del mar. They were stuffed with shrimp and covered with a tasty and smooth cheese sauce. They came with a mushroom quesadilla on the side -- it was absolutely scrumptious, and I was almost sorry that I wolfed down the enchiladas because I couldn't finish the quesadilla. My husband had a chicken quesadilla and a margarita, and he reported that both were very good. Our waiter was extremely attentive and brought things to us very quickly. Always a great meal. The only downside side is that parking can be a challenge.“

“The food was fresh, and the quality of their steak tacos was just as good as any I experienced in Chicago. Two meals to go were almost $30 so I would suggest going on a day with a special but the price wouldn't keep me from going back. Quite surprised by this little gem in “
“I've been here many times & they do have good food, but they have no compassion for handicap or disabled people, the cashier saw a disabled person & told him that he still has to wait in line behind all the people even if he was old & disabled!!!“

“Great food. They have options like guisado which is an amazing soup that you probably won't find anywhere else locally. Their tacos are superb. Love that they offer empanadas. Absolutely my favorite Mexican food.Parking: Parking seems fine, although at busy times you might need to use a pickup spot (sorry!) as they have like 5 of those for some reason.“

“You get exactly what you expect, which has some nostalgia attached to it. While we frequent more traditional Mexican restaurants usually, we had to visit Rudy's. I hadn't been to one in over 20 years. Very friendly wait staff!“

“This was a spur of the moment food adventure. Quinine from Chihuahua, Mexico. I jjHad a seafood tostada that was scrumptious. My son had enchiladas that were subtly but deliciously seasoned. We'd never been in this restaurant but will be returning. Best meal in months. A pleasure to eat and the owners were very congenial.“

“Food was great - that's what my husband wanted for his Veterans Day supper! They must do mostly drive through business-- we were the only people inside. Restaurant was freezing cold, awful music on radio was loud, and aside from taking our order, we were ignored.“
“Small restaurant in downtown davenport. Off of 2nd st. Went with my daughter and had tacos . I had the Barbacoa tacos and a strawberry crema. My daughter had the chicken tacos , a Mexican fruit cup that had chamoy sauce and chili powder on it. And she also had the corn elote . The tacos were great as was the fruit cups. And the corn elote my daughter had was pretty good also. As she took the remaining corn home to finish later. I'm not going to say it was a cheap meal . As I got quite a bit of stuff . And I didn't even mention that I had a Mexican style Coke which tastes much better than one from the US. Which I usually don't care for Coke but I had heard that the Mexican Coke tasted better. It did taste better. Although I still like Pepsi better. My daughter had a jarritos Mexican pineapple pop. And the two ladies that served me were very nice. One of which may have been the owner.“

“Place is a hidden gem that serves authentic Mexican Food that is really delicious. The service is friendly and expedient. The location is very clean as well. Parking is okay, but recommend carpooling if in a large party. Bring your pants with the elastic bands because they serve you like you are at G’MAs house. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food compliments it.“
