“I've ate Here several times I've had the adult grilled cheese more than excellent the different flavors the chesses bacon yummy yummy,the shrimp is the best I've ever had ,the rueben sandwich excellent,chicken Joe with spaghetti very very good and the selection of appetizers is great the giant pretzels with beer cheese awesome,sweet potato fries so good,the wraps are excellent,now saved my personal favorite in which is a must try because they're awesome the funnel cakes fries and you dip them in icing they're the most favorite thing of mine yum .great staff great service and not long wait time on the food.“

“yes I recommend Julie's for the most part. it's clean and most of the employees are very nice. But not on this day December 23rd 2023 at 11:00 a.m. I was just in there and the old lady behind the counter is yelling at me to turn my machine down cuz she can't stand it loud. it drives her nuts. So I did it this time and a time before this, but I'm here to tell you that's the last time I do it cuz I like my machine loud when I'm gaming I'm betting my money in your establishment and I'm tired of getting yelled at by this lady to turn myachine down. I will not turn it down again. This is not the first time she's done this so somebody needs to talk to her and tell her get ear plugs or find another job cuz I'm not turning my machine down anymore I like it loud thank you.“

“We went for a couple bands didn't eat there. But prices were low. Great atmosphere plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of shops and events to do while you're there. Service was so good never had an empty glass or bottle.“

Monday night and the restaurant side was pretty busy with another large group, but service and kitchen were firing on all cylinders. Impressive job. “Yesterday, my husband and I tried El Toro in Clinton. I have long since just enjoyed Mexican for what it is usually is outside of the western states, Tex mex. I was raised by a nana who made a fresh pot of frijoles weekly, that she usually had me wash for her, and roasted her chiles on the comal for her salsa until the smoke cleared the room. Every time she’d see me “Queres comer mija?” and you never told nana no. I had beans & eggs with verde salsa and fresh tortillas with her countless times. I have never found anything similar to her beans in any state I’ve been to, until yesterday. The beans is always my test, that and the tamales. I judge tamales to be like my Tias, who would make them all day from scratch; the only reicipe I follow myself. Everything, minus the salsa, was perfect. The music had me genuinely dancing in my seat, the food made me want to order seconds, and to add a plus, Jesse found the queso he loves so much from his hometown. The service was great and personable, we had several fun conversations with the staff. I can’t recommend it enough and I look forward to returning. It felt a lot like home. Thank you from this second generation Mexican American family, you made our day.“

“Wanted a quick new place to eat. Found this hole in the wall. It was more then that! The food was great. The atmosphere was inviting and employees very pleasant. Got or food nice and hot. Service was exceptional. Will return again.

Parking: They have more then enough parking. With 2 entrances and exits.“

“Hadn't been to Legends in about 7 years, my boyfriend and I stopped in spontaneously while in Clinton from out of town, and I was happy to see they were still open. Friendly staff who kept up with a fairly full bar/pool hall, and the drinks were delicious, after we had a fair priced beer and a seltzer, we decided to stay, and I had a watermelon whiskey lemonade that tasted like a jolly rancher, we both tried the Moscow Mules, that were refreshing and tasty. For sure going to be one of our future outings. (Side note the food was super good. Crisp fries and as somone who doesnt care for seafood, the deep fried shrimp my boyfriend ordered tasted so good when he had me try one.) Generous servings also, he had eaten part of his food before these pictures were taken) :)

Kid-friendliness: Seen a man bring a little boy up to a shelf with plenty of different board games and other card/game options. we were there around 7:30 p.m.“

“This bar is a gem in the heart of the Midwest, conveniently located for both locals and visitors. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly, making it a great spot for a night out. The selection of drinks is impressive, and the food menu has some fantastic options. However, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I ordered a soda, the water had a slightly odd smell, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, it's a solid choice for a snack while passing thru the town, but they might want to check on that water issue.“
