Classic roadside stand in Thomson for ice cream and fast food. It was on a drive along the Mississippi River that we came across it, which is one of the few places to eat in town. Bear's Drive-Inn caught our attention with the big bear on the side of the building. Pretty basic drinks and food as expected. The prices are pretty good for the area it seems. About the only people who come here are the locals and those who happen across it whole coming through going to somewhere else....read full review

Went there 3 times this last month. If you don't mind standing waiting to order, then waiting to get it. This is the place for you. The redeeming quality, is the ice cream is rich and creamy. Much better than last year. They have a great chicken sandwich.It has new owner. Food and icecream was wonderful.

The food is made fresh while you wait so you food takes a little longer to get but is well worth the wait.I had an Italian beef with everything and can tell you it was one of the best I have had.
