“Sarah set the tone with the best cocktail recommendations, and it only got better from there. Our table split the grilled cheese appetizer — basically the grown-up version you dream about: crispy, melty, and downright amazing. I went with the Hawaiian crispy chicken and it was phenomenal. And just when I thought the night couldn’t get better… the napoleon cake said “watch this.” Absolutely delicious from beginning to end!“

“A cool place in Clinton. Needed a quick bite to eat after clinching US 30 across Iowa on a recent road trip, and I'm glad I stopped in. The food and drink were good, and the bartender Amanda was very friendly and pleasant. Judging from some of the previous visitors' photos, this looks to be quite the local haunt for many, and it's not hard to see why. Not necessarily the most appealing place from the outside, but aren't those always the best places to go once you're inside? Stop by Manning's Whistle Stop if your visiting Clinton.“

“Bridget and Mike have done a fantastic job with this place since it reopened a handful of years ago. It’s a great, casual menu and classic small town bar feel. Friendly regulars, attentive staff, and clean facility. I wish I could give it six stars“

“The ladies here make you feel like you’re family. They remember names, drink orders, food favorites of regulars. I have so many wonderful memories having big family events here. It was my grandparents favorite to gather. We have continued meeting here as a family my whole adult life as well. They have great food, amazing margaritas, and the best people running the restaurant.“
“yes I recommend Julie's for the most part. it's clean and most of the employees are very nice. But not on this day December 23rd 2023 at 11:00 a.m. I was just in there and the old lady behind the counter is yelling at me to turn my machine down cuz she can't stand it loud. it drives her nuts. So I did it this time and a time before this, but I'm here to tell you that's the last time I do it cuz I like my machine loud when I'm gaming I'm betting my money in your establishment and I'm tired of getting yelled at by this lady to turn myachine down. I will not turn it down again. This is not the first time she's done this so somebody needs to talk to her and tell her get ear plugs or find another job cuz I'm not turning my machine down anymore I like it loud thank you.“

“First time here and it was a great experience. The staff was friendly and prompt, the prices were very reasonable, the facility was clean and modern, and plenty of lanes and bowling balls to chose from. It also has a vending machine and bar. We will definitely be back!“

“Great food. The waitresses work hard but are understaffed. The place is busy in the evenings and the waitresses and bartenders can't keep up. Breakfast was great. Just bring your own jelly for the toast. Legends doesn't suppy for some reason.“
