“Stopped in on a Friday for lunch. Cute little place. No one there other than us. Decent menu with several options. Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Both were good. Would probably try something different next time. I hear their pizza is really good.“

“Classic roadside stand in Thomson for ice cream and fast food. It was on a drive along the Mississippi River that we came across it, which is one of the few places to eat in town. Bear's Drive-Inn caught our attention with the big bear on the side of the building. Pretty basic drinks and food as expected. The prices are pretty good for the area it seems. About the only people who come here are the locals and those who happen across it whole coming through going to somewhere else. It was warm and we thought to stop here. This is like the local version of Dairy Queen it seems. Got some cold treats including the Frazil. It's about $1.50 for the small one. This is basically a slushie. As for the hot food, it's basic. It's about $3 for a pretzel. This may be the healthiest food really. Other items are burgers and hot dogs. These looked pretty greasy from what we could see. Of course don't expect healthy. This is one of the few places to eat for miles. Has okay stuff but it's a classic. It's pretty easy to spot with the big bear on it. They're cash only, which is another bad thing.“

“Really lovely atmosphere. The drinks were great. A little limited on selection but the cinnamon accented Rusty Barrel Old Fashioned was really good. They are also getting a smoker for drinks, so I'm excited to return once I'm back in Clinton.“

“We were passing through Iowa on a road trip, I could not imagine a better place to stop!The owner was also the server and bartender, and can't be sure, but maybe also the chef? She was super sweet and all the food we got was really good. Really awesome small town bar feel with seemingly lots of regulars hanging around. If we ever end up in Iowa again we'd definitely come back!“

“Local bar with some pretty good food. I'm a Chicago transplant and the problem I was having was getting a good pizza. The gas station stuff wasn't doing it for me and a mexican pizza joint? Well, enter Charlies II. Wow was I pleasantly surprised! Thin crust and well done with top notch ingrediants, this pizza really scratches my itch for something I'm more accustomed to! Only thing I would suggest is adding fennel to the sausage and or the sauce. Then it would be perfect!Oh, and they serve a variety of sammiches too! Burgers, Patty Melts, grilled chicken. Fries and onion rings are al a carte but valuewise you can do a lot worse!Staff has always been warm, cute and friendly!A++ I order at least 1-2 times a month“

“Absolutely phenomenal in every way!! This was my first time bowling since I was a child. I've lived in Clinton for almost 6 years and hadn't bowled here yet! What a lovely place. The staff was amazing. So beyond kind and funny. They genuinely seem to enjoy being there. Cosmic bowling is such a cheap night out that I recommend to everyone. You can't beat $11/person for 1.5hrs. They also have food and drinks. Can't wait to go back!“

“We did not eat here but wanted to visit the free 3 story museum and buy shirts. For the Savanah area they have some of the best adult t shirts and tank tops! They are not open during the week and only the weekends so we hit them on Friday on our way out of town for home. THEY did not disappoint..... shirts and tanks were awesome quality and the biker museum was very cool! Must visit“

“5 Stars all the way for Steve. This is the best bar in Clinton and has been for many years. The outdoor area in the back is great for smokers or for people like me that don't enjoy sitting elbow to elbow.Parking: Parking in the back lot is difficult with a bigger vehicle. I just park on the street and walk.“

“Bikers need to stop here. They seem to go to Poopys or Iron Horse social club. This is a good place to stop for drinks and food too. The bartender was so sweet. Very nice place too. I'll stop here before going to the other places in Savanah.“
