“First time stopping by, because we were working down the street. But definitely not the last time I'll be stopping in! The atmosphere is great, the bartender was super friendly and nice, the food was absolutely amazing too! I highly recommend this place for a good sandwich and a nice cold beer to wash it down!“

“Stopped in here on a hot summer day during Bluegrass Festival 2024 before the crowds hit. The vibe of this place when it's not crowded is awesome. I felt transported back to the 1970's just walking through to get a drink and catch the bluegrass band on the patio. The bartender was busy making many drinks for the patio crowd but was attentive, the drink was great and inexpensive, and the atmosphere is something that you just aren't going to find in a strip mall or a cookie-cutter brand name bar. If you are ever in Frankfort, pay a visit here.“
“Haas Tavern in Blue Island offers a charming slice of history, established in 1895, that’s perfect for grabbing a drink in a cozy, friendly setting. The tavern boasts a solid selection of beers, including some tasty local and craft options. Staff here are not just attentive but make you feel like part of the family, adding to the welcoming vibe. Whether you’re winding down after work or catching up with friends, Haas provides the perfect backdrop with its old-school charm and genuine neighborhood atmosphere. Definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy good times and great drinks in a place that feels like home.“

“Great food and fun times . Yevette is my favorite bartender .“
“If you're looking for the feeling of a small town bar, amidst the chaos of city bars and nightclubs, this is it. Between the bartenders being friendly and welcoming, the familiar music and/or tv, and the patrons, you should feel right at home.“

“Out with the old, in with the new. The transformation is not just amazing, but the Guinness is poured and served better than any Chicagoland Irish pub (yes better than Fados and Gaelic Park. New soft opening si let’s hope they continue with clean line authentic Pimt of Guinness (time will tell as they get much busier). Waitress knew her Guinness and was second to none!!! Atmosphere was exactly like being in a Co Mayo pub, just amazing transformation. Big question is in any soft opening l, can they continue this? I worry. But for now you will not find a more true Irish pub anywhere (in my 35 years of going to Ireland every year) in Chicago & Chicagoland that beats this places pint of the black stuff. Enjoy and Slainte!! Owners don’t let the bartenders slip on how to pour a proper pint: amazing start!!!! Last but not least Alex the Pub (not bar) manager rocked! Took time to talk for more time than I should have kept him. Great place.“
