Just Shrimp Reviews
Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I must say, the service was EXCELLENT, expedient and the food (shrimp and calamari) was absolutely fantastic! I think that I will try the salmon next time.
This was our first visit to Just Shrimp. This restaurant is a Tinley Park gem. We came in just before closing, and, unlike other restaurants who serve whatever is left at the end of the day, the food was fresh and delicious. We had the shrimp basket and shrimp boil. Both were flavorful and filling. The staff was friendly and they had great energy. Whether dining in or on the go, I highly recommend Just Shrimp for your next lunch, dinner or snack time.

Just Shrimp is a restaurant known for its tasty fried shrimp, along with other menu items such as shrimp & crab bites, oysters, 6pc shrimp & fries, gator meal, coleslaw, and banana pudding. The fish and chips, which have a cornmeal breading, are also popular choices. The coleslaw receives particular praise. Customers often mention that the food is prepared fresh and delicious, with well-seasoned dishes like catfish, chicken, and jumbo shrimp. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant, and the atmosphere has been described as having a strange vibe, but the staff, especially the owner, John, is known to be pleasant and patient with first-time visitors. Some reviews highlight that the restaurant has a friendly and courteous staff, and the management is often praised for being nice and welcoming. A few comments also mention the return of a similar restaurant concept, which brought joy to the community. Additionally, the restaurant offers lobster bites made from fresh tails, tilapia tacos, and fettuccine Alfredo, making it a versatile spot for seafood lovers. Customers also enjoy their desserts, including a nostalgic mention of butter cookies reminiscent of those served in Chicago schools up until the 1990s.
