Unfortunately, we don't get here often enough. Whether you're in the area or have to travel a bit to get here, give it a try. Not just because the food is excellent but also because the owner (who will probably be waiting on your table) is a sweet, hard working, wonderful human being. Great burgers, Irish nachos, fries, onion rings, salads, etc. Please patronize this establishment. You'll enjoy some great food and feel good about helping out a small business.

Love Schoops hamburgers. Have been going to Schoops for years- grew up near the original shop in Munster. Called for pick up order (just 2 hamburgers), was told 15 minutes. Showed up in 15 minutes. It is now 40 minutes since I placed my order and am still waiting….

Stopped by Schoop’s in Tinley Park and left seriously impressed. If you’re craving a classic smash burger done right, this place delivers in spades. The burger was perfectly crisped on the edges, juicy in the middle, and stacked with fresh toppings that didn’t overpower the beef. It’s the kind of burger that hits that nostalgic sweet spot—like a diner-style masterpiece with just the right amount of indulgence.
What really surprised me was the house salad. You don’t usually expect much from a side salad at a burger joint, but Schoop’s clearly puts care into theirs. Crisp greens, ripe tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and a tangy dressing that tied it all together—fresh, balanced, and a great complement to the richness of the burger.

I went to Tinley park Schoop’s for the 1st time just over a month ago and have been back weekly since.
The food, service and cleanliness of the restaurant is outstanding. The women who works there is great. The restaurant gets very crowded at lunch and the service was still outstanding.
I will be a regular customer

Had to wait 20 minutes for a burger when the place was empty. The burger itself was absolutely horrible and very dry. The waitress herself was also very rude. It was my first time in a schoops so I walked in, ordered at the counter, got my food, sat down and ate at one of the tables, just for the waitress to say, “This is a restaurant not a fast food place, if you want to eat here then seat yourself and we’ll come take your order at the table, and when you order at the counter get your food and get out” what a load of crap she was clearly racist and didn’t want me eating there regardless, oh and she’s right schoops isn’t fast food it’s even worse, I’d rather eat a whopper that’s been sitting out all day. Wish I could give this place zero stars.
