Tandoori House Indian Cuisine

The food was amazing, unlike anything we have ever tried before. We ordered chicken korma, chicken curry, garlic naan, and whole tandoor chicken.

I order 2-3 times a week from this place for my employees. $180-$220 each time minimum. I order today for my family, they didn’t give me a ticket number. I told him I would tell him my exact order and he could just look it up. Still made me wait like 30 mins. Order placed at 5pm, arrived 6:00 like they said. Still made me wait. Another customer came in after I waited 30 mins, said the exact same thing as I did, forgot his ticket number but the guy behind the counter pulled up his order right away. I will never order from them again nor will my employees since I’m the one that pays.

I just finished the food that I ordered. Maaan I can’t stay mad at you guys after that delicious meal. It’s was so good I forgot I was mad.

Went for a date night, even though this place is better suited for a carry out. But, very friendly service, good portions, authentic, tasty food, will definitely go back!
Ambience—Nothing special, a modest diner like place. This place is like the singer, Willie Nelson, appears a little basic, but with outstanding performance!, very clean, nice soft music in the back ground, small tables, but, well laid out
Service—The lady spoke very basic English, the young guy was very fluent, both were very courteous, but, the lady had difficulty in explaining the menu
Food—Let us cut the Chase and come to the food. The tandoori dishes were simply out standing. So was the lamb, came with papad that was free, the geera rice was fragrant and garlic nan fluffy, and not dry. The spinach with paneer was excellent. I was in culinary heaven.
Value—The southern suburbs of Chicago needed an affordable, Indian restaurant with tasty food, and it is here in TINLEY park! I give this quaint local gem a golden buzzer!

The Chicken Biryani was excellent and fresh. I asked for Medium Spicy, but I felt it was more on the mild side as I tasted spice here and there. Overall the restaurant staff was amazing.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Tinley Park. The food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic from start to finish. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani, and garlic naan were outstanding. Service was fast, the staff was very welcoming, and the portions were generous. Definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for quality Indian food near Tinley Park, Orland Park, or the south suburbs of Chicago. Highly recommend.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I waited over 2 hours for our food, and there was no communication or apology from the staff during the wait. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, bland, and honestly not worth the time or money. Service was disorganized, and the overall experience ruined our evening. I understand restaurants can get busy, but a 2+ hour wait for poor-quality food is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place.

Food is excellent, we are vegetarian and there are plenty of great options. We are long time customers. Yesterday, for the first time, the restaurant forgot to include an item in our take out order. I could not come back to pick it up with young kids at home having dinner. The owner delivered the missing item to our home himself right away. Very kind of him to make it right himself. Highly recommend Tandoori House.

Loved the chicken korma at this place. Even though the portions look small at first when ordering for carry out, its surprisingly filling! I loved the food at this place so much that I ordered carry out 2 days in a row. If it were up to me, I would be ordering this every day! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish the price was a few dollars cheaper. I guess compared to other Indian places, this place would be reasonable.

Had an order today!!! Was excited to try because it was Close to where I have moved !! I usually go to the one in Schererville, Indiana!!!
I guess I’ll be going back because the food here was greasy and the chicken tikki masala did not taste right !! Definitely didn’t taste like it at all and I have even ate it out the store besides dining in.
