Made a reservation for 5 people for a Thursday night dinner. When I called to let them know we were running about 10 min late I was told if we don’t get there on time they are giving away our reservation. When I challenged that the manager (I think) got on the phone and said they will try to work it out. We arrived within 8 min of our reservation and the place was only 1/2 full & I was met with attitude from both hostess & manager. Food was good but very pricey. CC service charge on top of mandatory 18% gratuity was a turn off - they are doing their servers a disservice by adding that charge. Unlikely we will be back anytime soon.

We occasionally dine here. Last night was our worst experience. The hostess was very rude. We got there at 410pm. Was to that we had two choices. Wait til 430 when a server comes in or go sit at the bar.If I wanted to sit at the bar i wouldn't have stood at hostess counter.Excuse me. You open at 4pm. Server should be there and ready to serve you. Made me feel like we were being racially profiled even though we are white. Although our server was very nice and efficient,the rudeness of the hostess makes me think twice about returning ! I hope that people read this

Update...3/23/24Went for a birthday dinner tonite and asked for TRISHA again..she's amazing!! She really is a great server..The food is always delicious!!!!!Had all our favorites. Ribeye,brussel sprouts, Carrot cake..Thank you Trisha,Everything was great..as usual..See you soon..3/2023We went to Primal cut last night for our anniversary.Our server was TRISHA...She was fantastic...Food was delicious...Steak and all our sides were amazing..When I ordered the carrot cake she said it was as big as her head ..OMG!! it was/is 5 layers and 4 people can eat on it..but it's amazing!!I've had it twice so far...It's $15. But SOOOO WORTH IT ..Thank you Trisha you were right..and thank you for a great experience.Update... 9/2/2023We just got home from dinner at Primal Cut this evening. We had Jason as a server.He was amazing! My husband's steak was over done so they made him another and it was under done. But he ate some of it and figured tomorrow reheated will be perfect. But the hostess /manager came over without us asking. (Jason must of told her)And she took off $49.So very nice of him and her we really appreciate it..so even tho it's a +18% automatic tip added to the bill we added extra for Jason. THANK YOU JASON EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL!!Absolutely perfect Service and food was delicious..Carrot cake big enough for 2- 4 people to share no lie!!!.

You better not be late for your reservation or you will be canceled!!Pretty sad to see that the “host” had to fact check a member of our party was actually dealing with Valet to truly seat us is sad. It’s not that serious and the obnoxious “host” running the show is just rude, I am sure she doesn’t care as she’s involved with ownership somehow as to why she’s acts like that but once outside of her little hostess stand bubble she’s in the real world like the rest of us. One day the flame will burn out for this place and it will close so enjoy the moment of your power trip serving Sysco foodservice product and be a better human when folks are choosing to dine here. Her ears must ring all the time because I know she is the topic of the night in many households. LolAnd the automatic tip is fine for me cause they decide what it should be, but that has to be brutal for the serving staff since ownership dictates what we should pay them so I didn’t feel bad making the “added tip line” $0 when being charged the 18% for party of four and dealing with host stand.

Food was amazing. Service was top notch. By far the best old fashion I’ve ever had. And if you get the carrot cake, be prepared for battle!!! lol.
They can not get it together. It is hit or miss if you will have a good experience or not here. Desserts are always great. Steaks are very good if cooked properly. 60% if the waitstaff are awesome, 20% are ok to meh, and 20% are poor.

Went there on Tuesday and had the special steak and lobster and it was very good, our server Liz was great.
Absolute gem: best steakhouse in the south suburbs. On par with Ruth's Chris, etc., and the ambience is great. Reverse sticker shock on some items: fresh oysters under $3/per oyster. Knowledgeable staff, good wine list, and cheap corkage fee if you byo. Very good liquor selection: Hendricks, etc.If someone recommends Jack Gibbons, go to this place instead.
i have heard good things about Primal Cut and had to go there. There was a party of 9. I ordered the lamb chops with as Au Gratin. The chops were tasteless and were not even warm when they were served. I found the potatoes to be very salty and again were just warm. Another person had the porterhouse steak. He ordered it medium, and it was well done. I did not hear from the other members of my party, but expect to hear from them today. Service was good but he may have been his fault that the food was cold. To bad my expectations were not met, not even close. BB

This is a GEM in our local, beautiful Downtown Tinley Park! Everything is tasty! The service & ambience is stellar! An ABSOLUTE MUST TRY! The 15oz Steak Frites w/Truffle Butter, Stuffed Shrimp, Cold water Lobster Tail were to die for!
