Banging Gavel Brews at The Vogt House

We hosted a baptism luncheon for about 30 people on the second floor. Our servers were very professional, the service was great, and the food was good! Mary Ann, the Event Manager, was very kind and professional and helpful! The room is very cute with a historic charm. We would definitely recommend hosting your event with the Vogt House/Banging Gavel!

Great outdoor patio with bands. They have limited food in the outside area, but you can go inside and order anything you want and it’ll be delivered to you outside.

Good beer list, place was packed on a Wednesday.
High energy, but super loud.
It's a cool bar mashed into an old house.
Visually it works. Acoustics wise, it does not work.
I was told it's not usually that packed, so maybe the issue just doesn't come up often enough to be addressed.

Hi Jim! I love it. Our son and I love the big pretzels. We should eat dinner there the next we go. Such a neat place.

They had none of their own beers despite their website not mentioning that.

Cocktails were well crafted. Adrian (bartender) provided great service. I highly recommend!

We love it here as locals of Tinley! Great, reasonably priced drinks and great staff. Food is great, too! Adrian (bartender) is amazing! He is friendly and makes great cocktails and is very knowledgeable in his cocktails and spirits. 10/10 recommend coming here!!

We recently visited Banging Gavel Brews at The Vogt House and ordered food along with a few beer flights. The beer selection was great, the atmosphere was really nice, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the food did not match the experience. The buffalo chicken sandwiches tasted heavily like oil and barely had any buffalo sauce on them. My son’s cheese flatbread also seemed undercooked and was not well done.

Overall, we enjoyed the drinks and environment, but hope the food quality improves because the place has a lot of potential. I would not mind going back, but just for drinks
