Tacos were really good. 2/3 taco containers didn't have limes, we had to ask for more. Horchata is stored in the fridge which is nice since ice waters it down. Our order was messed up but it was during a rush and there was no problem fixing it. Staff was very friendly!

The 3rd times a charm! Three times I've had their food and it has been horrible. I do not know what meat they are really serving when you order ANYTHING with steak in it but it is NOT STEAK! I will not give them any of my hard earned money anymore. I tried to give them a few chances but now it is time to move on. This one star is a negative star.

Got a Mexican spicy pork burrito with easy lettuce and it was awesome. Cashier was a courteous and cute Latina woman. Charismatic and curvy. Lol. Yes the location is la late campus joint so it looks like it. Food was great.

Burrito King is exactly what I look for in a college town Mexican restaurant -- solid food, low prices, and open late. The restaurant is often packed late at night, as people are headed home (from a long night out... I mean studying) and stopping for food is a big priority. As a result, it can be hard to grab a table inside (there's not a ton of indoor seating, especially as of my last visit in May 2021), but most folks are just picking up takeout. You'll find everything you look for in a standard Mexican restaurant menu, and they offer a solid selection of options in general. The costs are reasonable and you get a good amount of food for the price too! Overall, I'd recommend getting a Burrito or a few tacos -- getting Tacos really lets you get a good sample for the various meat options they have, but the burrito is massive.

Burrito King is a staple late night option. The chicken nachos are amazing to split with friends and the burrito or burrito king are a great personal option depending on how hungry you are. The portion sizes are good for the price. An underrated aspect of this restaurant is the lunch menu. Heading there between 11-3 allows you to get many of the menu items for just $8 or so. I would definitely recommend the chicken alambres since they can be made into delicious tacos with the tortillas that come on the side.

You can walk in and order your food to go which is super convenient. I know a lot of places don't have their lobbies open. The women working the front was very nice and the food portions are amazing. Love the food and the huge burrito I got!
My family eats a lot of Mexican food and have tried just about every Mexican option in C-U. This was the first time I've had Burrito King. I'm giving 2 stars because the service was good enough (carry out order) and the portions are very large. This is by far the most Midwestern Mexican restaurant I've ever had. I love spicy food and this is the opposite of that. It's very basic and the sauces taste no better than a canned enchilada sauce you can buy at the store. If you don't like much Mexican flavor, this is the place for you. I ordered for four people. I had a fajita chimichanga with shrimp as the meat choice. There were very few shrimp and it was stuffed with way more green peppers and onions. My son had a taco and enchilada combo. He asked if they used some kind of ' blanding agent' to,flavor the dish. Lol! Well, we are full but not very impressed.

Omar rocks. Beyond Food showed they were closed but I called the restaurant and Omar did a wonderful job of getting our food to us. I have ordered from BK several times and they never disappoint. Omar will always be my go to guy.

I never realized a burrito place wouldn't know how to wrap a burrito! I basically opened my to go box and watched the ingredients slip right out of the tortilla like a damn water slide. Not only was it poorly wrapped, I think this is by far the most average and dry tasting burrito I've ever had.

Shit quality for a shit price. This food is flat out bad. It's overpriced and I do not recommend. Just don't go. It's really sad to see this as being a 4 star restaurant on here I think Yelp needs to do better

I ordered grilled steak, end up getting chicken. It's not the first time they get it WRONG. Will stop visiting this place until things have improved.
