I tried their beef pies at the Urbana Farmer's market and people stopped me around the market and asked what I was eating because the filling smelled so good. I recommend ordering ahead for takeout for a timely meal.
Stango Cuisine is (supposedly) the only Zambian restaurant in the country. The spot is somewhat difficult to find, but the vibe inside is elegant and comforting. I ordered Emma's platter (a sampler of their most popular entrees, which includes chicken curry, beef stew, and more) and the beignets. This ended up being around 40 bucks, which is quite expensive.
