Timoone' is as close to NY Italian as you'll get outside of New York.It is one of the few remaining University of Illinois traditional dining spots.No visit to CU is complete without hitting Timopne's, Papa Del's, Mary Ann's, Original House of Pancakes, and Jarling's Custard Up.There are other good places to eat, but these feel like home to those of the past and will to thy happy children of the future.I am sure Alma feels the same way and will not...
I was excited to visit the restaurant with my family when I was in town for the holiday. The last time I was there, I got the veggie pizza with goat cheese- and I decided to get this again on this visit. We arrived at 4:45 (and attempted to call for reservations that afternoon but the restaurant wasn’t open). Upon arrival, there were 3 staff members looking over the specials menu. Favorite restaurant in the CU area when looking for a nicer meal... date night, celebrations, or just because. Delicious menu with amazing chef specials. Great martini menu. Great food every time
