We stopped in there on our way back to Indy from St. Louis and it was excellent! You can tell that the people that work there really care from the service to the cleanliness to the freshness of the food. 1 of the 2 best Ponderosa's that I've ever had. If you hope to find a Ponderosa as good as it was back in the 80's, then go to this one!
We were so excited to find this Ponderosa on our road trip yesterday! Most of the Ponderosa steakhouses are closed in Indiana - many rightfully so as the quality had gone down over the years.
However, folks, this one is a unicorn!! We had an amazing waitress, perfect steaks, and the buffet and salad bar were pristine clean. My husband and I were reminiscing about how this reminded us of the Ponderosa from our childhood and going with our parents. (we are Gen X in our 50s )...read full review
The food was excellent everything was warm. Everything was clean the serving that we had were very friendly. The restaurant is very nice and very good food. We love it and we come over an hour away just to be up there to eat.
