Halsted Street Deli

Today for lunch I had a Reuben sandwich, matzo ball soup and a very small side of cole slaw with a drink. $23.78. The sandwich was average, and the coleslaw was a teeny amount and was average, and the soup was nothing to write home about. The girl who rung me up was not friendly. So, no, at that price I expect more. Not returning.

The food is great, and the service is even better! Santiago and Nancy are just the best! They are so nice and good at what they do. The owner Dave is also amazing! It’s always nice to give your money to good people!

1st time visit. Tried the Italian Beef and it was amazing, meat wasn't dried out. Definitely would come back next time in the area!!!

We been there twice and both times my husband and I loved the food and had a great experience. That's what a deli sandwiches is supposed to taste like!!! Definitely recommend and we are going back! Sorry I didn't have time to take a pictures of what we ordered because we couldn't wait to start eating. Maybe next time ?

First time visit at this deli Ordered a Turkey with cheese. Everything on it very good food menu looks wonderful. I will be back I want to try some of that Chili and oyster crackers highly recommend this place!!!

Their bread is fairly soft so having just one bite doesn’t ruin the rest of the sandwich. Love my sandwich.

Best Italian beef and turkey sandwich I have ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone considering eating here. The perfect place for a delicious and quick lunch.

I liked this place. It’s a sandwich shop but they have a good variety and Boars head is decent deli meat. Prices are reasonable. They could use a better drink selection. But service was good and fast. Bread was fresh and plenty of meat on the sandwich.
