The food was very good. My complaint is the tip request at checkout. In a sit down restaurant I tip generously. This however, is fast food. After paying $15.00 for a sandwich, chips and a drink, I'm not tipping. This is the same level of service as McDonalds. The tip screen doesn't have an option for no tip, instead it kept directing me to "other". For whatever reason 0.00 wasn't accepted. In order to checkout, ( I was in a hurry ), I had to tip the minimum, which was an additional $1.49. I won't be going back, To me it's a dishonest way to gouge customers.

Jersey Mike's is one of those quintessential go to, fast food, east coast hoagie and cheese steak Sammy fixing places. You'll always, generally, find them clean, customer service generally three to five star ( depending upon the age of the server behind the counter), but ever big smiles on their faces, and consistently pretty darn good all over the country. I discovered Jersey Mike's as a local franchise and have since bumped into them all over the nation. Good job guys for that East Coast Philly fix!Vegetarian options: You can make his vegetarian as you want, however, anything on the grill has been mixed with meatDietary restrictions: Just ask. They will acquiesce to dietary restrictions

Sub was delicious, super fresh ingredients all around. But the service was what really made it 5 stars. Grant at the counter was awesome. Greeted as I walked through the door and was super helpful as I walked through my odd order. Will definitely be back.

I come here every now and then, on a biweekly basis I’d say! There’s a reason for that, and it’s not just for the incredible food honestly (I always get a #13 on white but today I tried the rosemary parmesan) and that was really really good!!! But I love the staff that works here honestly. The supervisor/manager (I don’t know what his name is) but he needs a vacation though at some point please!!! I will always come back to Jersey Mikes, and when I go, at times I give very gracious tips when I can give it so hopefully I can do that very soon for the team again. Keep up the great work you guys!!
Took nearly half hour for a hot sandwich. 1 guy on the grill who was overly anxious. Wasn’t even cooking for at least 10-15 minutes working on other items. Wouldn’t let a co-worker grill. After 25 minutes offered a cookie. Meal should have been comped. Even asked how long and no real response. Won’t go back to this location.

Need I say more? Where else can you get a such a concoction of palatable excellence? This wasn't a commercial, this was just a perfectly lit, flawlessly timed photograph of a sandwich in the making. Amazing. The ocky way is good food, but the grant way is the move. An amazing crew, comprised of a largely positive crew with great recommendations and a willingness to accommodate every experience to make it feel special. #43 is my all time favorite, not kidding the chipotle sauce is a major W. Impeccable flavor. I will certainly be back at least 5 days a week lol. Ambiance: very lit

I was in on one of my days off for the store and had the staff working extra hard making sure everyone was extremely happy with the whole sandwich experience. I would defiantly recommend this ALL my friends this is one of the only sandwich spots I’ll go to in Vernon Hills.
