The service at Lazy Dog in Vernon Hills was impeccable, I have never witnessed service as amazing from our sever Ozzy. Incredible nice person, asking us questions, offering us suggestions, and helping us choose our amazing drinks. If you come here, please request Ozzy!

Ozzy was the best server we've had. Excellent food and service. Would recommend to anyone. Absolutely delicious meal. Ozzy is iconic.

Came for our anniversary and Ozzy the waitress was awesome. She is so sweet and fun and will totally ask for her section again.

Came for the food, stayed for Ozzie! My family and I were visiting from out of town and heard great things about Lazy Dog. Not only was the food amazing, our server Ozzie was AWESOME. We’ll definitely come back and ask her a seat at one of her tables. One note, add more gluten sensitive options on the menu please.

The food and atmosphere were top notch. They had a great amount of options on the menu that it made it hard to choose. But my husband and I were so happy with our choices. Can’t wait to come back!

We were sat right away on a Friday. Food was good and the service was great. A little loud but that should be understood for a Friday night.

Amazing food, unbelievably fast amazing service. Our waitress Miriam was the best server we have had on our trip. We had the candied bacon, fried deviled eggs, buffalo chicken nuggets, several burgers, steaks, shrimp tacos, Huckleberry pie, smores brownie and butter cake. Absolutely fantastic, would come back just because of the service!

My group came to Lazy Dog for dinner and it ended up being the best decision ever. This place had fantastic food and great atmosphere. Along with that and most importantly our server was fantastic. Miriam Garcia. We were very thankful to have her as a server.

Danny was our server. He was very attentive and patient and made great menu recommendations. He came back to our table multiple times to check on us. Danny was very patient with our many questions. We greatly enjoyed our meals. Complementary chips and sauce from the manager for first time diners at the table.
Cuban sandwich with fruit. Fish and chips. Grilled cheese with tomato soup. Combo tomato soup and turkey club. All were delicious. Loved the way the Cuban and grilled cheese were cut into multiple pieces. Bread was nice and crispy. Cuban pork and ham and pickles were super delicious. Soups were good and hot. My friend’s birthday was that day. Got a complementary dessert. Nice wine pour and good beer selection.
The atmosphere was comfortable with dim lighting and very subdued noise at lunch time. The butter cake with strawberry sauce was the most moist delicious dessert ever! Perfectly baked. A real treat! The entire experience with Danny and the great food was outstanding.
