Love the food, love the layout. Aside from our onion rings having enough oil to make our napkins translucent, we enjoyed our dine-in experience. The Shotas line up on the menu was a no brainer, all great choices. Hope they keep it for a while...or longer. 😊 The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a popular fast food restaurant but less noisy. But the views inside can make new comers heads roll up and down with eye catching vintage era artifacts. Like you're back in time. The booths are our favorite choice of seating. Cozy with some personal lighting. And so far we havent caught a dirty table. Just one wobbly one. Will be coming back for sure after the the wife does her Target run... hehe. If there was one need for improvement, maybe the restrooms could be inspected/cleaned more often.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really nice and made me want to came back again and again. Also the workers were kind and made sure that every time I needed assistance they would help me and make sure that I was taken care of.
So If I had a choice between many restaurants I would go to her 10/10 times due to the fact that the food is very good and makes me feel good after eating it.

I've been a regular for years and I always ordered the BIG BEEF...its NOT a BIG BEEF anymore...rather it's BIG BREAD with small amount of meat...last 3 I've ordered have been shameful...dont know if they weigh the portions but other portillos are more generous...staff is always nice BUT the beef makers need to up their game

I went through the drive through the other day after some touch news and I have to stay in the short period of time- Emily from the drive thru made quite the impression! She was warm, welcoming and was hilarious while also being very efficient. In excellent worker for sure! I received my order correctly, timely and in great fashion as well!

Portillo's is one of my all-time favorite spots! The food is always delicious, and it's such a fun place to visit. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Chicago-style hot dog, a hearty sandwich, or one of their tasty salads, you can't go wrong. But let's talk about the real star of the show--the chocolate cake. It's absolutely to die for! Moist, rich, and perfectly sweet, it's hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever had.
The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Every visit feels like a treat, and I'm always excited to go back for more. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and try it out, especially the chocolate cake! You won't regret it.
