Place is so good, pretty depressed that they have been closed down for a few months now but the food is amazing and the portion is huge people say the lady at the register is salty but if you're a degen like me who goes daily then she loves you lol... way better than Panda Express, if sarku is there I would take it any day of the week! If this place isn't open today, I'm going to niles or Lombard to eat it, it's that good

Sarku Japan has always been classic food court food in my mind. I remember when they used to stand out front and give you samples. Almost always got you to buy. Went there tonight for nostalgia purposes, because the food used to be delicious. However, after we ordered, I was disturbed to see that a massive tub of chicken and, a bag of vegetables was sitting out in the back, not on ice or cooled in any way. This raw chicken should be kept over ice but in a container that drains, NEVER sitting in its own raw juices. They are just asking to get someone sick.

Turns out the meat was cooked ahead of time and left on the griddle in the corner at temperatures within the danger zone. Then when ordered the cook reheated it and served it (not freshly cooked). The next day was spent expelling my bowels of this badly prepared food (diarrhea). This was the only food I ate out in the past day. Up until then my gut was happy and working just fine.Avoid this place, they don't know what they are doing and don't care about your health.Read the reviews and where they also post to. The descriptions and 5 star reviews are fake! (a waiter? It's in a food court)

At the moment you arrive in that place the waiters give you a nice feeling. Very warm team, it is a lovely place to go out with your friends or with your date. Great cuisine, professional chief cook and stuff, good cost and nice service. Highly recommended.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I got to say the customer service is always great and they keep the place well kept constantly. Rates are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
