“The staff was wonderful - super nice, attentive, helpful...an excellent experience. It was relatively quiet when we went (Wednesday lunch), so there was no wait. Deep dish does take about 30 minutes, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but they have appetizers, salads, and other items that you can order while you wait. The Margherita Pesto pizza was delicious, as was the Classic sausage.“

Large menu with variety of choices in veg and non-veg dishes, excellent service, and loved the ambiance and the way the restaurant is furnished. Must try the non-veg thali!“

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!“

“Dined in with my family of 4 and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. But the best part was the food!!! Very hearty, delicious, and flavorful!! We had the platter, with garlic naan, and butter chicken. All super good. I also enjoyed a Mango Lassi, it felt just right not too fattening but with a very light hearty and flavorful taste! “shahi biryani-bolingbrook. no mirchi no namak , ordered today goat biryani family pack and kadai chicken. it looks there is difference in glendale heights and bolingbrook. biryani should be little more spicy but it was not.“

“Food is fire. Tasted the same as the one in chicago. Obviously a place like this isn't known for their service or dining experience. You go for the food. Their paratha rolls were just like the chicago location. Maybe less spicy, but jut as flavorful. I even had an edit on my order that they got right (which you really cant expect at a place like this).
I wouldn't recommend to dine in, and you likely need to understand what you are ordering ahead of time so you dont buy something they dont specialize (some things are better than others thats how it goes)“

Outstanding experience at Shahi Nihari & Chopsticks!
We recently hosted our team outing for around 50 people, and everything—from parking accessibility to private dining arrangements—was extremely well managed and stress-free.
The food was absolutely amazing. Our menu included nihari, chicken tikka boti, veg Hakka noodles, garlic chicken in sauce, chicken biryani, along with tea and accompaniments, and every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The variety worked beautifully for a mixed crowd, and the quality was consistent across all items.
The staff was courteous, attentive, and very accommodating for a group of our size, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The private dining setup was ideal for team bonding and conversations.
Overall, everything was perfect—great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended for team dinners, group events, or family gatherings. We’ll definitely be coming back!“
