Got the rib dinner here with the beans and fries as a to-go order. Service was fast and courteous. The food is fantastic. The ribs had a fantastic sauce, but you can do taste the smoke underneath. The meat was fall off the bone tender and very juicy. The beans were delicious as well. The fries were, unfortunately, a little under done, but that might be because I was early to the pick up time. But all in all, it was all wonderful meal.

Girlfriend and I came in close to 7pm this last Saturday. We are from east peoria but I've been seeing this place non stop on Facebook. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the Owner. He was very welcoming while explaining they are short staffed today and wait times might be a little longer than normal waiting for your food. We have eaten there twice.The ribs and pulled pork, very tasty with a good smokey flavor. We had the gator gumbo...It was delicious. he really knows his stuff and does a great job with barbecue. Nice, friendly staff. Sides...great potato salad, the cowboy beans were good, but a bit sweet, coleslaw
