“Amazing food and even better service ❤️ Raul’s really makes the best tacos I’ve ever had and I could eat them everyday. But they are always suggesting new things for me to try and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Whether it’s a first time guest or a regular customer they greet everyone like family dropping by for dinner. The food is so good my friends from out of state talk about it long after they go back home. All I can say is If you haven’t had Raul’s you are missing out!”

“I totally enjoy the skill of all the wait staff, their ability to inform, enjoy conversation, and do the run down on what the band is like. Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. And occasionally, or perhaps too often singing back up to Motown song fulfills my fantasy to be a Temptation, a Top, Little Stevie Wonder, or Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell. And yes, the Jackson 5. But there's no mountain higher than backup to a Supremes song, except for a Diana song, or Tina is Simply The Best! But Diana's he PEAK, & so is STRAWBERRY MOON. CHECK IT OUT. “We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!”

“We've been ordering from Panda for as long as I can remember. The food is always good, fresh and hot! Got to tell you.... My new favorite is general tso chicken and they made it without the fried chicken.... I had it with sauteed chicken breast. It was sooooo good! Another item to try is the boneless spare ribs appetizer. Once you eat this from Panda, nothing else compares. Friendly customer service!”

I had several guests who needed gluten free and Julie and her staff were able to make the whole cake gluten free. It was so delicious that my guests thought it was the best they’ve had. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a great experience at Docks Bar & Grill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and everything came out fast. We also really enjoyed the conversations with the bartenders — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging. I mentioned that I appreciated the TVs being on the same channel, because when multiple screens are on different channels, the flickering lights can be overwhelming for me. I’m disabled and live with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and CPTSD, along with chronic migraines. The sunglasses I wear help reduce light sensitivity from LEDs and neon lighting, and the staff was kind, open, and understanding when I explained this. It meant a lot to be treated with respect and curiosity rather than judgment. The bartender was friendly, approachable, and handled the conversation with warmth and professionalism. Great atmosphere, great people, and a place that makes you feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back.”

“Good selection of Mexican food, products, produce, and snacks! While we didn't buy from there, we bought from the restaurant attached to the supermarket. There's also a currency exchange counter, which has Vigo by Western Union. This supermarket is also a safe space for immigrants and other vulnerable people. There's a meat, deli, and seafood counter. The supermarket has a good selection of hot sauce and spices. There's also home cleaning produce. The produce section has what you expect. Fruits, vegetables and some Mexican ones like Aloe Vera. You can find specialty snacks and drinks like Mexican soda and chips. There's also some plates, bowls, and ceramic products. But one of the freezer doors has glass cracked. Did not break but that was concerning. In the restaurant attached, we ordered 2 shrimp tacos and tortas. But a small complaint, the tacos were quite small for 5 dollars each. They come with lime, and red and green hot sauce. But they are still delicious! So, if you're looking for a local Mexican supermarket with standard products, Mexican specialties, a welcoming place, currency services, a meat counter, and delicious Mexican food, this grocery store is for you!”

“The steak and cheese sandwich was good and I get it all the time but the problem was when i used those drink fountains not the bottle one but the one you have pure drink in the cup there was something in the drink. Although I changed my mind that I will just buy a drink for the bottle.”

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.”

The frozen pineapple float machine was broken, but right when it became working again, Ashley personally made me the frozen pineapple float (which i did pay for) & brought it to me.
