Food and menu very mediocre. Wouldn't go back.
Worst restaurant experience of my life. I had dinner at Deacons on 6/27/2026. Waitress took my order and disappeared. I had to wave down another Waitress to get another round of drinks. When the food came, only my wife and 2 friends received their food. After 10 mins I inquired with another waitress where my food is, she came back 4 minutes later saying I found your waitress. After another 5 minutes, she showed up with my food. Literally over 15 minutes after my party received their food. She then lectured my about how people make mistakes. I never said a word to her to prompt this response from her. I was embarrassed. She also failed to deliver my wife's salad. I was given a $15 dollar credit on my bill, but it was a horrible experience. Neither me nor my friends will ever visit Deacon' again.

$10 for bucket of Golf Ball( ~70). $2 for golf club rentals. Beers $4-6. Friendly staffs. Food is amazing and really reasonable.
Way better than other chains like TopGolf. Lot of food options for everyone. Nice Patio.

We LOVE this place! Huge portions, and the food is always incredible. Service is always speedy and a super friendly staff. Great specials on food and drinks every day. They also do a fantastic fish fry, out of this world. It's connected with Golf Farm, so it's a great place to hit some balls, have a drink and a bite and enjoy their huge deck or sit inside at their bar or dining room. It's a great spot that is always consistent with fast service and a great meal for a fraction of the cost of anywhere else. Highly recommend!!

Very good food, give you a lot to eat
Delicious food! Generous portions, reasonable prices. Servers are hard working and have great personalities! Had fish fry and have had stroganoff. Both are really good. Outdoor area was perfect! Had 80's classic rock going! 38 Special, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, etc. Huge draft beers, cold and $4. It was a Friday special. Very positive experience and would recommend to anyone. Keep doing what you're doing, Deacons! Oh, and if you're a golfer, bring your clubs! Driving range with waitress service!

Wife and I went and it was slow. Ordered food and wife decided that she wanted a cocktail so I walked up to bar and explained we just ordered but I wanted to pay cash for the drink. He basically yelled at me for bothering him, made the drink and slammed it down on bar.
Food arrived about half hour after and completely cold
AVOID this place at all cost. Attitude to customers is horrible.

Stop in for mother's day. 1st time there and we really enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly, it is a nice place. We definitely will go back.

We moved to island lake last year and discovered this gem and have been coming here for breakfast and dinner when we get the chance to get out of the house. We came here tonight to celebrate my fiancés birthday with our baby and our waitress terry I believe was her name, was so nice and accommodating to us. She was so gentle and kind to our daughter and it just made the dinner even better. She let us know about the homemade made cheesecake and we caved and got the banana flavored-best desert I’ve had in awhile!!

Incredibly disappointed. 4 adults and a 3 month old baby.
The baby was Incredibly good until it was almost time to leave and then he got fussy and cried. The waitress and the owner or male manager which ever he was got visibly rude about the crying. There was another table with many young kids and a baby as well.
The owner / manager man was making jokes about the baby.
Such a bad experience when you're spending over 100 on lunch.
Not a family friendly restaurant what so ever.
Do not go there if you have children.
