Glad a good restaurant filled in this great location!
Tonight was our first time at the Grand Social and we will definitely come back. The food and drinks were very good. The atmosphere was great and the people are excellent
The server was beyond exceptional, the food and ambiance was amazing. Our table’s only regret was that we would have appreciated bread for the table and a side salad option. We couldn’t figure out why there were bread plates but no bread

The Grand Social House & Tavern is a must-visit restaurant in downtown Wauconda. The atmosphere is great, with decor styled like an old country hotel, featuring rustic wooden accents, vintage details, and soft, inviting lighting. It feels like a beautifully preserved slice of history and a classy throwback to the 1800s. The food and drinks are very good, and the service is excellent. The server was beyond exceptional, attentive, and friendly. The food was amazing, especially the spaghetti and meatballs and the outstanding Italian food. The brandy Old Fashioneds may have been the best ever. The bar setting is fantastic with elegant tables and plenty of TV viewing, while dining is away from bar noise and is a special experience. The only regret was that there was no bread for the table and no side salad option, despite bread plates being present. Overall, it is an outstanding find that cuts above all other Wauconda options.
