I have stopped in twice in the last week and I’ve been blown away both times! The food is phenomenal. It’s also priced reasonably. The staff and the owner are so friendly and welcoming. It’s a great environment and a fabulous meal.
Absolute 🔥. So glad stopped by to try them. Got the brisket, rib tips, corn bread, Mac & cheese, collard greens and red beans and rice. Everything was amazing and can’t wait to go back to try everything else.
Very excited to find a place that serves okra and corn fritters in Waukegan! Makes my MO-transplant heart (and stomach) very happy! Plan to try the black eyed peas next time.
