Best kept secret in the west suburbs! Fantastic service, cocktails, and food. We had chicken, steak, and pork dishes - all cooked to perfection. Fresh shucked oysters and a cheese board for apps. Chocolate soufflé and profiteroles for dessert. Fabulous from start to finish. Especially loved the chefs counter!
We went there for our 55th wedding anniversary. The place is smaller than the old Vie and the noise level horrible. So not romantic. Tables too close together. But the food was amazing.
We had a wonderful evening and dinner at Petite Vie. We sat at the bar and received excellent service from Patrick and Mariah. The meal was perfect!
From the cocktail to dessert, with apps, entrees, and sides between, another great dinner. Sunday night, so it was quiet (we've been there Fri and Sat and it is buzzing!), and it was perfect for conversation. Love the evergreens such as escargot, duck, chicken, and those fantastic carrots! Service is always informal yet excellent and we appreciate that.
This was our second visit to Petite Vie and we are looking forward to our next visit. Delicious food, great service, nice vibe - we really enjoy this restaurant.
Outstanding food always consistent and excellent friendly service. A true French bistro ambiance but can be loud at night for dinner.
We loved our meal and our waitress ! The wine I had was the Bordeaux blend, it was so good! My husband had the duck and I had the trout amandine. Both were delicious. The appetizer we had was the gnocchi which was delicious. And the Chocolate soufflé was amazing!
Fantastic ambiance and menu. Great service and happy upscale vibe. Best restaurant in the burbs with a city feeling. AMAZING ~ congrats to Paul Virant and Jody Tate of JMT designs!
Moriah and Patrick make the best drinks of all time.
Ask Moriah for the warm spiced pear drink. It was perfection!
Mackenzie is the absolute best server. Ask her her! ❤️

My husband and I told our son to pick a restaurant and we would go out to celebrate his birthday And he chose Petite Vie. When the reservationist asked if we wanted the chef‘s table bar or dining room I had to have her explain what each meant and we chose the dining room. However, we were only able to secure a 730 reservation, which was not our first choice. The noise level in the bar and the chef's table was very very loud as it was a Friday night. However, the dining room was a whole different experience. It was a lot quieter, even though it was completely full. The food was superb. The service was wonderful and people watching at his best. My husband and son had duck which they loved and I chose the pork Chausser which was fantastic. We will definitely return!
Great service in the bar area. The food is top notch. Staff is very friendly and personable.
Was brought here to celebrate a birthday and everything was amazing! Reservation for quick sit down, free parking out front, very attentive service, and the food was delicious and brought out at the right times. I appreciated their patience with food/drink customizations for an overall amazing experience.

We were visiting Chicago, and I set out on a mission to find a restaurant that served an authentic Chocolate Souffle (not lava cake types, etc.) Boy did this restaurant deliver! We had not made a reservation so we could sit at a bar type spot inside or outside on the patio. The weather was wonderful, so we sat outside. We enjoyed seeing the trains come and go.
I ordered the duck, and while it was delicious, I didn't care for the sides. I would try another entree if we were near this town again. My husband ordered a sandwich and fries which were delicious.
When in Chicago, I would definitely dine here again, and of course, I'd get the Chocolate Souffle again (and again)!
