Love your restaurant. Have dined there mamy many times and, up until tonight, always enjoyed it. Tonight was not your night. Service was super slow and there were tables next to us complaining also. 2 hour meal that only last 2 hours because we pushed it. No drink until we were seated over a half an hour and no food (a simple baguette) for close to 45 minutes. Meal was delicious as always but service was lacking. Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. The obsession over making good food is evident in every plate that they serve Something as simple as a tomato and blue cheese appetizer blew us away. I never thought that tomatoes could be that juicy, and the added crunch of the onion crisps made the texture amazing the standard staples of steak frites and halibut were amazing
