My AirBnB guest, Karen, found this spot and walked here often. She brought me back a muffin to try and it was INCREDIBLE!! You can taste the love!!

New to the area and really wanted to like this place as our new local coffee shop. I appreciated the baked goods display case and variety of drink options, but unfortunately was not expecting my iced latte in a styrofoam cup… tasted watered down and my wife’s coffee was not good either. We were also not informed of our order cost and had to ask. We ended up throwing them out and going to the new Brazilian coffee and bakery across the street, Bacuri, which was much better! Will need to give them another shot and try something different.

Brewed Awakening is a cute and quaint spot with a retro vibe! It’s a great place to study with comfortable seating. My favorites from the menu include the scones, cold brew, and cappuccino. The barista Sylvia is so friendly and provides wonderful service!

The most authentic coffee place in the Chicago suburbs! Silvia, the owner, makes fresh delicious muffins every morning and brews fresh coffee. Great atmosphere!

I was about a half hour early catching my train to the city, so wanted to see if there is anything other to do rather than sitting at the station. I was happy to see a coffee shop across the street from the Westmont metra, so location... convenient. Coffee was tasty. Inside, i entered a welcoming atmosphere with cushioned seats and furniture giving it a feeling as if your at home. Even had a homemade train schedule displayed for the patrons. There were plenty of options of snacks to choose from. When I walked in, Sylvia greeted me as she was wrapping muffins in saran wrap for sale. So it appears that they probably make their own muffins and pastries there as well. I wonder if they are as good as the coffee. I'll have to find out for myself next time Im nearby.

I had the white mocha latte and a cherry Danish. Both delicious and service was exceptional 😍 I will definitely be back. Thank you Sylvia 😊

Excellent local spot for a coffee, fresh in store baked pastry, or even a quality smoothie. It's a westmont institution that has stood the test of time. We stopped by late on a Saturday morning and it was full of people enjoying the space. Service was still quick and excellent. I will stop here over any Starbucks or Dunkin in the area.

Cozy, welcoming space as soon as you walk in! I tried a vanilla iced latte and banana nut muffin. Muffin was fresh and warm, but I couldn’t taste the banana at all. My coffee was… not great. I was also bummed out by the styrofoam cup. The lid didn’t fit properly and spilled on me during my first sip in the car. Parking and service was a breeze.

Coffee was nothing to write home about but the exceptional service and comfortable, homely atmosphere more than made up for it. It felt like my mom making me coffee at home.
