Ordered a small sausage and onion pizza last night that was so good it sent me back in time. I grew up in Chicago, but moved away when I was ten and this pie tasted like the pizza we would get over 30 years ago. After seeing the other reviews and pictures, I knew I was in for something special. The sausage has that homemade taste with a slight sweetness to it that just blows up the taste buds, and the sauce is equally as flavorful and fantastic. The dough is perfectly crafted and has that awesome cracker consistency that defines a Chicago pizza. While I'm only visiting, I will go out of my way for this pizza every time I come back. Way to go Dough Daddy's, yall are super legit and serving up little masterpieces over there!

Live a mile away. Have tried ordering take out numerous times. This was our 6th to be exact. Told pizza would be ready 3 hours later. Once for pickup called at 4 and told can pick up at 730. Might be good but we wouldn't know. Will
go to our normal spots.

This was a unique pizza. Can't speak for the restaurant (although I know it's small) or the service since my wife picked up the pizza, but she said the owner was very nice. I ordered the pizza well done and it was cooked great. Nice thin crust that held up well. The sauce was zesty and quite different than other pizzas but in a good way. The sausage was also great. There was one odd thing though, the pizza was spicy. I ordered sausage and pepperoni so I was surprised that it was spicy. Not sure if it was the sauce or the sausage but it was spicy enough I held off from crushed red pepper which I usually always add. Not sure if this is normal or not. The spice wasn't too hot so it didn't ruin the pizza or anything but I'd prefer a less spicy pizza so that my son could have some (he found it too spicy.) Still a very solid pizza overall that I'd be happy to eat anytime.

Awesome pizza! We got pepperoni and candied jalapenos, it was delicious. We brought folding chairs to eat in the parking lot, the employees brought out the pizza to us and even gave us a chair to sit it on! Super thin, to everyone saying it's spicy you don't know what you're talking about lol

Very good pizza, nice guys.

This place most likely buys their positive reviews. Read all of their reviews on here, how does EVERYONE know it's a father-son joint and everyone knows their back story?? Seems a little fishy, like they are almost telling people what to write for a discount on a pizza or something since literally everyone is writing essentially the same thing about it being a family run father-son joint. It would also explain why they get positive media reviews as well as I really think they buy reviews or incentivize people to leave them positive reviews.

The pizza is nothing special. There are literally 20 other pizza places within 5 miles that are equally as good if not better.

I'm not trying to trash these guys, but it's virtually impossible for anyone to get as high of a rating as they have online. And given that all their reviews mention the same points but just using different words -- I do truly think they are trying to buy reviews. This place is average at best. Also, it's a little hole in the wall place. Not exactly sure what people are talking about when they mention the environment of the place. Again, it seems like DoughDaddy is telling people what to write in the reviews in exchange for discounts. Look the place up on Google Earth or something, I have closets in my house that are bigger and nicer than this place. It's a tiny hole in the wall at the end of a little shopping strip.
